I am a Christian Jamaican woman, but I’ve always admired the Rastas in Jamaica… their way of life. They have been vegans long before veganism became a thing in the West… they are usually calm, peaceful, down-to-earth, and so conscious. I’m loving this video.

Glad you enjoyed it
I have always been interested in the Rastafarian religion and raggae music. This is a very insightful video, thank you Tayo for this coverage.
Rastafarians are undoubtedly the cultural warriors of the Caribbean. Hey were the first set of people to practiced veganism.

Indians have practiced veganism for over 5000 years. Rastas have existed for less than 100 years.

In Jamaica perhaps/undoubtedly, but most certainly not in the world. The Buddists_india, China…. And the men don’t look that healthy (especially their teeth which is very unusual for African people as we have the most beautiful teeth on the planet), so I think something nutritional is missing from their diet.

No substitute for quality, Tayo Aino always deliver high quality videos and its so profound.
Word aren’t strong enough to describe how amazing this Tayo’s video is. 🔥
Tayo is a fantastic storyteller. One of the best in Africa. I have a few friends who are Rastafarian and sometimes attend their celebrations. I respect the lifestyle and have learnt alot from them...
Rastafari way of living is not a religion bro it’s a lifestyle and it’s not strange because they teaches us about Africa
Thanks Tayo for bringing us another fresh perspective of the rasta community in Jamaica 🇯🇲. I'm not a rasta but I 've always loved them, I have a brother who is. They are highly spiritual, they love nature and want it in tact. They understand their African connections and hope to one day set their feet on the continent they were once pulled out from. I hope to visit and enjoy this off grid life. I paused when they took you to their worship place, you got to be careful with that, it's not for everyone, what they do there is capable of taking them into a spiritual reams, very deep.

I don't understand, what's stopping them?? 🤔
Thank you for this great video about Rastafari. I have studied Rastafari since I was a Youth and know the ways of Rastafari. Even though I am a Caucasian American. I have visited Jamaica in 1995 and lived in the Hills and Mountains of Montpelier is located near the western boundary of Saint James Parish, Jamaica, approximately 10 kilometres from the parish's capital Montego Bay.. I lived with the Don of the town who was a Natural Food and Ganja Farmer. i ate, drank, bathed and smoked directly from the Earth. I lived in a tent next to his old 1 bedroom shack with his wife and many children. They were vary generous and caring and friendly. I will never for get my experience and i long to go back someday to Visit Montpelier Jamaica. I also stayed in a tent in Negril a few feet from the Beach. It was a beautiful experience. I even bought a Nyabinghi drum in Montego Bay Market. I still have that drum today. I have played drum set and keyboards in many Reggae bands over the years. I love Reggae and Dub music and the Rastafari way of life and culture! One Love and Respect to Tayo for making this video for the world to see!!! JAH Bless to One and All!!! Praise JAH Most High God Almighty Yahweh in Jesus Yeshua name!!! Big Up!!!🙂❤💥👍🙏🙏🙏

You guys should stop disgracing Africa and its people. How would you say you are the eyes for African liberation and redemption? Nonsense!

@@nmg1909Put your arrogance aside. Most Rasta's are Pan-Africans. The ideology is what will eventually free Africa from Western domination and will help to rebuild our continent with the vast wealth that is beneath the soil of our motherland. ONE LOVE!
Storytelling is on point and educative too.
Next time visit the Rasta village in Blue Mountain is know have mystic Activities
I love how every religion/way of life has a piece of the truth and how they have beauty, noticing! its the extremes, if we could find the balance, everyone will be able to see each other as other humans and stop all this senseless war, Billions and Billions that could have went to the advance of the human race as a whole, with all the bad options out there strictly for a profit, its hard to really be natural and get to this harmony, as a people we will have to make unhealthy things and options obsolete, completely banned and illegal for it not to be distributed in the first place. I wish we could all be natural in a balance with Our surrounding, I truly do.
Thanks for bringing us our brothers in Jamaica closer. Hopefully my African brothers ina Afrique will understand that this our brothers and sisters that are scattered all over the world are waiting for African unification, so they can come and reconnect better with us in the mama land. Thanks Tayo. Africa unite
You just gave me an eye opener to the Rasta folks, like i always thought them to just be dreadlocks and weed, but after watching this im sure sharing the rasta message when someone doesn’t understand it will be KEY. BIG UPS UNCLE TAYO
