I purchased one on whim, and I'm glad I did! A week later Canadian Tire had some other brand .22LR on sale, with traditional style plastic stock etc 1/3 the price. Well I can tell the difference, between the actions and accuracy. Whenever I get a new 22 I grab a bag that has a mixture of ammo, shooting against my friend and with a mediocre ammo, the gen 2 outpreformed his. The ergonomics are phenomenal on this, the adj buttstock and AR style pistol grip are very comfortable. While it cannot outdo my expensive Ruger 10/22 it out-preforms my standard one, I recommend having one!

Aside from the longer hand guard and the adjustable stock, they also reversed the safety so up is Safe and down is Live/Hot/Fire. The handguard is removeable with one Allen Screw on top, and then by removing the barrel nut (with the supplied wrench) you can easily remove the barrel for easy and thorough cleaning as well and easily access the inside of the receive for a more thorough cleaning. Best .22 Semi I've seen since the SR-22.

I bought one a month ago ( black ) Its a fun gun to shoot...I mounted a red dot and it shoots accurate. Oh, and looks kick-ass as well. It cycles excellent, no problems whatsoever.

I've been looking at several models but been having a hard time, the closest I've found is the one with the M16 style carry handle. The price for it is pretty good but it's not exactly what I want. Would you mind sharing where you found yours. Thanks
