Спорт
On the latest Blackhawks Talk Podcast, Pat Boyle and Charlie Roumeliotis discuss Frank Nazar's memorable NHL debut after he signed his entry-level contract with the Blackhawks on Saturday. The guys talk about why it was the right decision for Nazar to turn pro, whether it's a big deal that the Blackhawks burned the first year of his entry-level contract, and more. Plus, Nazar speaks to the media for the first time to explain his decision to sign with the Blackhawks. Pat and Charlie wrap up by discussing Kevin Korchinski's development and whether he could benefit from a stint with the AHL's Rockford IceHogs next season.

Frank Nazar Is A Great Fit For The Blackhawks ❤️🖤
Nazar isn't playing in the AHL. He's bona fide.
Go hawks
Unless the Blackhawks add several talented free agent forwards Nazar will be in the NHL next season.
BTW Del Mastro looked more poised and NHL ready in his two games than Korchinski. He was properly developed. Finished junior hockey. Spent most of the season in Rockford and was an All-Star in the AHL. There was zero reason to have a teenager playing defense on a bad team in the NHL this season.
I don’t think Nazar would put a lot of stock in what his Michigan teammates had to say about him turning pro. It would not shock me if Korchinski started next season in Rockford. He was in way over his head in the NHL. He seemed to be on the ice for a lot of goals especially in the past couple of months. Several of those goals were because of his mistakes. He looked frustrated and dejected at times. He needs more seasoning.
It’s Davidson’s fault for keeping Korchinski in the NHL. He said they wouldn’t repeat the Kirby Dach mistake and then they repeated the Kirby Dach mistake. Hopefully this mistake doesn’t ruin his development.
I think Frank will make the team out of camp, and Korchinski will have a much improved 2nd season.
