I love that Larian thinks about any outcome and as Draw female, at first hostile male Drow and how he wants to change things, fast change his mind when I mention hierarchy in Lolth worshippers. In other games probably it would be skipped

I just decided to buy this game today, because i was curious and it sounded good. Well after 4 hours, i learned A. This is actually a lot harder than i thought lol. Spent like 30 minute's at least on one fight. But that was definitely from me still learning the ropes a bit. And B. This is definitely a game im glad i got, im struggling in fights which again is just me being a noob but im having a lot of fun. Looking forward to thr full release

To me the combat is just completely new. In the sense that I've never played DnD or other games with this kind of turn based mechanic. But I don't know...there's just something compelling about it

I found a flask, that if you smash it or throw it, breaks and summons a beholder! There are some serious crazy items and secrets in the game, can´t wait to full release!

It is always nice when young people like yourself discover roleplaying games.

Friendly tip if you have the mask of the shape-shifter, you can use it to shape shift your whole party

Everything I could say about the variety of the roleplaying choices and how they affect gameplay in sometimes quite significant ways, can be summed up by saying I have 143.7 hours in this game and it isn't even released yet. And I still think there's some things I haven't seen!

Dudes choices are so was and varied that I deleted five characters (two with over 4 hours of progress) to try out new out things. Also still couldn't figure how to become an oath breaker.

If I ever get this game, I'm going to recreate my Level15 monk with Quivering palm, and a Gravity staff that lets you send people who fail their save flying away from you

I've been having a craving for a true RPG experience lately and despite how good MANY of the cRPG offerings are, I find that the majority of them are simply party combat encounter simulators more so than anything else. Almost all of the role-playing in cRPG games boils down to whether or not your character would engage in a fight or accept a quest...problem being by not fighting or taking almost all the quests you are often times under leveled as a result because the game is rarely built around you picking and choosing what to do based on what your character would do! BG3 seems to finally be a solid approach and, hopefully, the path forward for the genre.

I really wish they would do another Icewind Dale game. One of the best and most epic, yet challenging RPGs I've had the pleasure of playing.

You can probably expect Wizards of the Coast to keep commissioning Larian to keep making DLC's for BG3 because its such a great foundation for DND content. Something similar to icewind dale might come and you never know someone might just mod it in BG3

Hope we get Goliath in a future patch after release

My racial choice of being a Dwarf, at the end of Act 2, has afforded me nothing. And thus far there are NO notable dwarf NPCs or companions. SoOoo

I have a doubt, Baldur 3 will be like Fallout in the sense that Charisma is super important to have dialogue options, or is not that important for the most part of the dialogue.

So far, it seems really important. Most of the classes i have interest in need charisma for spellcasting anyway

Is reason Cyberpunk2077 is less RPG simply down to the TRPG its based on or stems from the game itself.I do not own either of these games so I am just wondering here.

The game has less decision and consequences than baldurs gate, but story and characters are great

No skeletons sadly I’m playing as one right now in divinity 2 lol, there is a lot of options though and if you like undead without spoiling anything there is a lot to love about some early parts of the game

Yes yes yes, it’s like ok let’s go more action. Fine But where is my role playing, there are just action games. Which is good but just those in fake levels does not more it a Role Playing game.

Omg, the women in this game actually look pretty! I am literally gonna support it for that reason alone. I HATE the liberal trend of making women ugly so ugly women irl feel better. Ugly women irl don't even really play video games they "game" on their phones. My wife likes the little anime games on her phone, and it's basically softcore porn, so regular women seem fine with sexy women in games.

@@nezahuatez she is more traditional than me, her family made me more conservative because they seemed a lot happier. The women on her side are submissive and old fashioned, yet somehow way happier than modern women. They all spend their time with the kids and they don't have to work, I assume that's why. I have been at both spectrums because as a young person I was a homless drug addict, hated the police, blamed racism for all my problems, wanted comunism, etc. in my late 20s I learned it wasn't racism or my childhood, it was my decisions that made me homless, from some conservative self-help guy online lol. He had to teach me personal responsibility. getting clean got me into conservative politics. Then I married my conservative wife, had a kid. Now I am super right wing and wanted to deport everyone and outlaw lgbtq.

Not sure if it is amazing if they still make male model too skinny.
