    steph and klay literally the two best shooters the league has seen. Obviously they were both great before they even joined the league, but I think the fact that they got on the same team and have someone like steve kerr, the most efficient 3pt shooter ever, as their coach, it has made them even better than they would have been if those things didn't all line up perfectly.

    Great video about the way these two are benefitting from their own incredible hard work and also the perfect pieces being on the floor around them. I will say that the finishing at the rim stats are misleading whenever you consider volume. If Steph took just as many shots at the Rim as Kyrie, then Steph would make 9 more layups. That could just as easily be a product of Klay being on the floor vs Kyrie having Luka. And Rudy only finishes slightly worse than Steph with 1) way less offensive ability, only size and 2) three times the volume. All in all, it's a fun stat to misconstrue, but it's close to, if not actually statistically insignificant.

    Defense and Stupid Decisions are what plaque the warriors. • @yapyap3

    @yapyap3

    Жыл бұрын

    No one really talks much about their lack of bigs, because since they started winning chips, they got away with not having an elite big. They got Looney, Draymond, Speights, Wiseman when he was still there. They didn't really have an elite big, except when they had Cousins for a little bit. They got away with not having big men ciz their offense is elite. Now, that Wiggz is out, Klay declined, Steph kinda declined too, Poole is inconsistent, their offense has become stagnant, that their lack of bigmen and other weaknesses are showing. But if they're still in their prime, we wouldn't even notice their lack of bigs.

    At the rim, kyrie has attempted more which would increase the percentage. That’s like if Giannis hit three three-pointers and only attempted 4 which would give him a 75% fg percentage. That wouldn’t make him better at threes than curry. You have to compare their stats when they have attempted the same amount of fg and their percentage.

    I think you missed a few key points here with Stephen & klay but kudos for making this video nonetheless: a point that you probably need to factor in h0is the number of wide-open, high-percentage, uncontested shots that both of them get due to their prolific motion offense with multiple screens that typically lead to miscommunication, losing sight of the ball or man, or just straight-up laziness on defense when they're getting the shots. I understand that you showed clips of Curry taking a bunch of contested shots, but if you watch the full games most of his 3-point shots are fully wide open because of the motion offense that they run. I feel like that should have been the main catalyst of your video. Steph/klay are not taking the same low-percentage, dribble pull-up shots that someone like lamelo ball or Dame Lillard are going to take several times the game

    That kyrie thing is straight delusional he takes way more difficult finishing than curry cause people be so focused on curry shooting that he gets easy lays that’s like saying Yuta shoot better than curry cause he more efficient but takes far less difficult shots

    They are the best back court duo. But Warriors need a really good big, like Jokic, Giannis, Sabonis.

    Easy! The answer to that , is both players don’t really predicate their value as a threat through physical prowess but just plain skill and endurance. That’s why GSW is a huge problem with other teams. I predict a repeat.
