3:50 I’m a recent revert, grew up Catholic. My brother and I were just talking the other day about how traditional Catholicism has so much in common with Shi’a Islam. I’m not a Shi’a, but it was just such an interesting conversation. Oddly, by learning more about Islam and praying salah, I feel closer to Jesus and Mary as people, and I feel closer to God. I always loved my Christian beliefs, what I love about Islam and the Quran, is I don’t have to give up those beliefs, just refine them. Jesus is still the messiah, the focus is just returned where it belongs, on my Creator.
