Khadijah ra is a smart woman. She could read literature, which at that time its rare for someone could read. Her family is a christian, and she know the sign of the prophet. She sent her servant as her representative to follows the prophet when doing business to syria. Her servant testify that the cloud following the prophet, the famous dates plant which only react to prophet are reacting, and the priest on the syria also predict muhammad saw will become a prophet. This lead to her conclusion, she proposed rosulullah SAW into marriage. The one who usually propose are the male. For 20 years she waited the prophethood, and eventually rosulullah saw got the first revelation in the hiro cave. She is the first muslim, after rosulullah got the revelation.
