100% agree, so glad you brought this up about the debate. I lost so much respect for doctors in Canada, when they were forced to tow the line or lose their medical licenses. Science is not about shutting down questions and debate.

I think if anything, this past pandemic has definitely taught us that we should take health much more seriously even before a pandemic strikes. No matter what anybody says, diet and exercise are very important.

It’s good to hear Thomas Sowell’s name mentioned. No surprise to hear Noam Chomsky ducking a discussion with Sowell. Thomas is indeed 90 and still would take Noam to task. So much respect for Sowell

Great segment! I have watched many of your interviews, but in this one you really let us see how you think and process - to see how you rely on street-smarts, intuition, and common sense. This was very revealing. Thoughtful people stepped back from the pressure to get jabbed; we asked, why are they pushing so hard? Why so much fear-mongering? Your interviews early on about Covid and vaccines was very helpful in thinking clearly about the unfolding situation. Thank you!! You are a great American!

I can’t even imagine the level of debate within your household PBD! I struggle with generational trauma. Being a small business man of whom took over a family business, I have always been very introverted. I had to teach myself how to “get out of my shell,” so to speak. I run a tire shop/retail business I took over 10 years+ ago in 2012. Some would look at me as successful, but I’m not even close to what I want to and set out to accomplish. I have some things I need to deal with, and your podcast has been a stepping stone in that process. Thank you.

We can have people thinking for themselves, disagreeing, or even questioning or doubting our plans and what we tell them to believe. They won’t win with their ideas bc the ruling class has bad domestic policy ideas, an evil foreign policy disguised as humanitarianism and a good for the world and “democracy”. Their ideas are almost always ONLY good for them and their friends and family. They’re almost ALWAYS bad for 99% of the world. We did not know that the mercury and aluminum in vaccines is connected to brain inflammation and brain inflammation is connected to autism and connected to my mother's Alzheimer's (everyone's Alzheimer's) ..We did not know that a flu vaccine could kill you like it killed my brother by causing Guillain-Barre Paralysis...We did not know how much mainstream media would censor the independent research...We did not know it would take me so many years to wake up...We did not know how fast and furious Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, and Marck, and all the vaccine makers would be to smear excellent doctors and researchers that showed unsafe side-effects, just like what happened when Vioxx and Thalidomide and DDT and cigarettes were questioned..We did not know that the CDC has never studied a group that is divided into a ''vaccinated group'' and compared them to an ''unvaccinated group''..We did not know that every other independent researcher who has done the comparison between those 2 groups has shown that the UN-vaccinated group is healthier and the VAXinated group has many times more asthma, SIDS, auto-immune diseases, ADD, ADHD, autism, chronic rashes, deadly allergic reactions to peanuts, milk, beef, latex, etc. and their parents need to carry Epi-Pens..We did not know that the Vaccine researchers studied African children and found that the children there who GOT vaccinated, especially with the CDC's DPT vaccine were 5 times (Yes, five times) for likely to die before the age of 5.We did not know that the doctors on every news show who are the vaccine maker's mouthpieces were actually getting millions from the vaccine profits and were never questioned or exposed

You gave a very valid point ( “why don’t they want to debate the issue?”) if you have the facts and scientific evidence as a doctor it’s imperative that you tell the truth and debate those that have miss information about an issue. What we could have done differently was to try harder to find therapeutics that would counteract covid when you got it rather than only concentrating on a vaccine. Often, in medicine, we repurpose drugs that are already in existence to help combat a different and new disease.... they could have also taught people to eat well, take prebiotics, stay hydrated

I got the first covid also. March 19, 2020 and I lost 26lbs in 4 weeks. It was brutal because I was (still am but less so) overweight, diabetic and asthmatic.

Well if he tells it how it is what was all that guff about printing money for the poor. All the quantitative easing went to the rich and promoted asset bubbles. If any of the post 2008 quantitative easing had been directed to the poor or working class people we could all have benefited from that money being spent in the real economy. Anyone that knows anything about the post 2008 quantitative easing knows this did not happen. It was Wall St that was bailed out not the people. This guy is definitely not ‘telling it like it is’

My boy at 1 year old spoke around 10 words. 2 days later after he took the vaccine he stopped talking. Now at 5 he still not talking,instead has a brilliant mind. At 2.5 years he knew the alphabet both ways,around 3 he wrote 1st word,now he is writing sentences and is reading. On top of this he understands 4 languages.

You can tell David was scared to go there and be honest. He knows what's up, he just has that 'tow the line' instilled in his blood throughout the many years being around those people. Quarantine was totally wrong. You don’t lock down healthy people, you quarantine those who are ill. But, even more important is that the border is not controlled. Had people coming in from infected areas been isolated upon arrival at the border and further travel stopped from infected areas, perhaps then we could have contained the contagious virus without the governors (it was state based) having to shut down small businesses and schools. Note that larger corporate businesses and “essential” services were still operating. As a RN, I worked in ERs, in rural areas, during the pandemic and watched an interesting spread from urban areas, many with universities with returning students. I got jabbed, didn’t get sick from taking care of patients but ended up with Covid after going on a cruise that was screened and full of vaxxed passengers. Thomas Sowell is brilliant and he started off as a socialist, so Noam Chomsky knew he was at a loss to start. I started following Sowell decades ago.

Vitamins are a scam, you dont absorb most of it and you are throwing off the balance of nutrients in your system. Eat a variety of healthy (preferably soil grown) foods and you will get all the nutrients you need in the correct balances and in the form your body was meant to ingest it.

As a nurse and got the jab, I agree with Pat in debating the legitimacy of the vax. I just finally got covid last September (surprised I lasted this long) maybe it was the vax, maybe It’s cuz I try to live as healthy lifestyle as I relatively could, but it’s was nuts how people were forced to take it or else lose their job in the middle of a crisis of nurses quitting due to overwork was crazy. Debating vaccine efficacy/legitimacy is nowhere near giving an anti-semite a platform, that’s apples and tanks. Not a fair comparison.

This refusal to debate was the most disturbing thing about this whole thing for me. The host should have let the guest comment on Chomsky refusing to debate Sowell, especially after making that comment about not giving Nazis a platform! They always make that comparison when it is not anything like that! In the beginning of the pandemic, no one knew what was going on. No one had the complete truth so there was a lot less reason to shut out ideas and theories. There was every reason to listen to as many experts as possible from as many backgrounds as possible to figure out what to do. They should have called on as many thought leaders from as many disciplines as possible to get together and share information and research to find the best way forward. It was shocking how quickly political background became a criteria for listening to a doctor or scientist and not their medical or scientific pedigree! This was not the time to shut medical observations out! They refused to listen to what frontline doctors were seeing in their practice treating patients, and only listened to "experts" who had HEAVY ties to big pharma and only one political affiliation. That is enoug in itself to raise any thinking person's suspicions and foment distrust of government and media...

I completely agree with the idea that it is damaging or undesirable to give voice to the opposition. Firstly, because ignoring it doesn't make it go away, especially dissenting views that are reasonable or compelling. Secondly, debating a dissenting view that is coming from the lunatic fringe exposes it as such. Thirdly, it demonstrates the resilience of the truth being promoted. Fourth, by not debating the opposition it brings suspicion to those promoting the narrative, that they have something to hide.

I have zero respect for anyone (including this guy) who defends not debating someone because you don't want to give them "credibility" or "a platform." That excuse MAY work if it's some random person no one knows. Beyond that, refusal to even have a discussion with someone is only out of fear that you can't defeat their arguments. Period.

How did he feel so comfortable asking Pat was he vaccinated? Since when is it ok to ask people their personal health status? Hey what colour is your pee? How many times a day you take a dump? Have you got any std's? Pat should have done what he normally does and dodge that question. Guard was down there. I wouldn't trust anyone who presumes they are entitled to an answer. On the other hand, that was an honest, sincere disclosure and reflected exactly how I feel. Something wasn't right from the start.

Exactly...this guy explained what was going through my head. What cemented the view was...no one was dealing with folks who had already tested positive for Covid....just, take the vaccine.

I would love more coverage of Robert DiNero and his thoughts on vaccines, especially following the pandemic and the rules. He was one of the first mainstream people I saw talking about vaccine dangers years ago, and might have some leverage given his celebrity status.

so I am a typical European guy, non religious, a universal healthcare advocate, baffled by the gun violence in the US, shocked by the state of politics & media in the US, probably to the left of most US citizens. But I appreciate and enjoy a reasonable and fair discussion from a more conservative point of view. It should always be an exchange of ideas of open minded people. The “reasonable” part has been hard to find ever since 2015 or so. I like to be challenged with good arguments and I find that PBD tries to do just that. Good job!

I really appreciate this channel and Patrick's point of view and the panel. I may not agree with everything but it gives room for me to question my own ideas and thoughts and make my own informed decision. Open dialogue and discussion is key
