Just a couple decades of shutting down the 15.4 trillion dollar a year fossil fuel industry. The “who is going to pay” arguments are absurdity when we examine how much we lose and pay to support fossil fuels… and we can add in 2-3 trillion in supporting industries as well. And yes, we cannot get there tomorrow, this means in the meantime… because of our failure to act… we must figure out how to ensure survival through the transition while doing without the entities that are burning the world down.

Jesus says the poor you will always have with you. People that want to alleviate poverty will never be able to because there will always be poverty. Sad but true. As far as changing the social and political structures to make positive change it will only go so far. They never address drawing closer to God, accepting the gift of salvation from His Son and obeying God's commands as a solution. The problem is that Gods people that are called by His name are not turning from their wicked ways. Only through giving oneself over to God will He heal their land.

It explores the challenges faced by different societies around the world in navigating towards mid-century, as well as the actions needed to ensure planetary and societal well-being in the years ahead. The video features four global experts who highlight the drivers of change and the urgent need to take action today to safeguard our future and survival. The experts discuss the challenges of climate change, resource scarcity, socio-economic inequality, growing geopolitical tensions, and rapid technological change, which are creating a very uncertain future. The world is deeply interconnected and facing some dire challenges, but international institutions and ways of thinking are not in line with our needs. The experts call for a complete redesign of our societies to ensure sufficiency for people to survive and lead decent and dignified lives, social inclusion and justice, an economy that operates within planetary boundaries, and peace between major powers. The world is currently off track on all of these objectives, and urgent action is needed to ensure a more resilient, fairer, and more just world.

How is caring for your environment, a trashy thing? Maybe you are already half way out, so you don't really care how the future generations will suffer from a ailing earth.
