Why 97% of Men Descend into Low Value - Is This Happening to You Now?

Hopefully this is a helpful dose of reality. Emphasis on "helpful"! Whenever I talk about obstacles and difficulties, I intend for it to give you a clear path to overcome them rather than providing excuses for the lazy or unwilling. In any case, MOST men do end up being low value relative to their goals dreams and desires... here is a look at why this is the case.

Easy to do for a while, but if all you've experienced is failure, eventually it gets harder and harder to have that mentality. It's hard to feel confident when your mind is reminding you "this is the 135th night in a row you've gone home alone. If you're so high value, why the hell do you go home alone every single night you go out?"

That's why putting smaller goals can help with feeling the successess and help to fix that little mistakes that hold us back. Instead of "go home with a girl" say "go approach 10 girls tonight". Goals are overrated, it's the discipline and choosing the most optimal action in given situation is what makes us high value.

@stealth797 @10:14. -Easy decisions hard life, Hard decisions easy life.. ..a lazy person wants the instant satisfaction versus a hard working person who aims/hope for a bigger reward in the future. btw. high value can have different meaning for different people.. high value for someone who can get benefits from you, high value for your family, high value because you're a kind and care taking person, looks, social status etc. When guys sort of "fake" high value I believe its equivalent to when woman fake youth and fertility with make up, dresses, sensual talk etc. You bet they don't like it, same as men don't like when that woman gets her cloth off and they see she's not what she advertised ..lol

Todd I love your content, but I strongly disagree on quote "The only person who wants you to be high value is you". On average there are many other people, that want you to be high value (I'm not saying they will help you get there), because you will be useful to them. On the other hand so many people are conditioned to think about themselves, as low value, that it is really hard for them to change- it's basically changing everything, even your family will treat you different. In the end I would say: The only person willing to put effort in making you high value is you! ;)

Kippa DR : can i give u some free tips? Pamper yourself, its sounds corny but its the answer to everyone’s questions . See that everyone is of equally beautiful value and realize that romance is just a micro game inside life. Romance is of course conditional and resembles a marketplace where the set of rules (our combined “value” of: looks aka genetic health; personality aka emotional lifestyle and beliefs) define which product sells better. Let go of any need to achieve and see life is a blank canvas meant to be shared. We can do anything we want in life but the trick is in being a little frugal, a lot hedonistic, genuine 100%, and being easy on ourselves. There’s nothing to prove because all people are pretty much alike and all ideas come from the same source.

In fact, I think the idea that I was an electrical engineer may have helped me get a date with her in the first place. I’m not saying she’s a Golddigger, but she ain’t messing with a broke fella 😉. When I think about it, the craziness started during the grad school application process. An otherwise perfect girlfriend started bitching that I was studying too much for the entry exams. After I was accepted, she started saying things like you’re a “Smarty art fellow now!” and “Mr Ivy League” and similar statements. She got really cranky all the time! Hey, just keep in mind that this is a thing!

"Oppressively difficult to be high value" Definitely true. I became high value. And i did it with a crap ton of suffering. Dealing with massive failures, and persevering. Years of discipline, taking big chances, and mostly succeeding. I worked while others partied, and when everyone passed around blame or fled, i stepped up. Sometimes i was the only one between success and failure. I had to make the difference personally to make projects and events succeed. I never got promoted until everyone else failed, then i stepped up, after the others fled. Used to be ignored by women, and treated poorly by some men. Now i command respect, both personally and professionally. But it took me constantly self improving from the age of 15 to the age of 30. Just remember, high value is relative. But any improvement is worthwhile.

Do you think life was meant to be “won” by 1 out of millions? Maybe theres more to life than superficial success and others opinions of ourselves. High Value Mind Set 1. Whether you have support or not, at the end of the day you are the only one to be accountable for your own actions and growth. 2. Difficulty refers to a challenge. Over coming a challenge leads to experience which makes your life easier. A good thing! 3. Find help, maybe hard work. Finding someone that is willing to teach you a skill will take time and sometimes money. Very nice outlook Todd!

Too often I've had friends and family who didn't support what my path towards growth (both in terms of Game and Otherwise), who didn't believe things were possible until I did them. To anyone else in a similar situation, I'd say truly believe in your own value, and while taking stupid risks is foolish don't be afraid to go out and prove to yourself who you really are.

I ended up in a VERY well paid, exciting, glamorous job travelling the world first class and staying in top hotels, all paid for by my employer. Dyslexia taught me to work hard and believe in myself. I stuck doggedly to my passion. But I didn't have the internet as a distraction until I was already killing it at 35. The web can really suck away your time, work on skills and passions, the web is a tool for that. Lastly, take a holistic approach with incremental improvement on all fronts all the time. It really pays off. PS Don't trust BigTech.

I'd love to know what you do. For many, many years I was crazily ambitious. I'd take every chance I found, stayed hours after I'd clocked out, spent my lunch break researching and learning new skills, and even put together a presentation for my bosses when our company was struggling, highlighting areas I thought we could move into and take advantage of using our ability to maneuver quickly since we were a smaller company. In every instance, my ambition was met with either apathy or outright squashed by managers who I'm pretty sure were threatened by my assertiveness. I was constantly told to stop standing out so much and stop trying so hard. No matter what I did, success eluded me while my far lazier colleagues thrived and were promoted. After being fired from yet another job I decided to stop trying so hard and just go where the universe takes me. That was 3 years ago and I've been out of work since. Now I cannot find a job or get my foot in any doors. You had everything working against you and succeeded, I had everything working in my favor and failed, I'd really like to know how you found success.

Stop looking for canned steps to success in books and whatever. There is no explanation for why he's who he is. Same for similar people. This is just the way their brain functions. If you're smart and you take interest in how things work and are willing to take action, this is what happens.

Oh my. Hats off for making that comment about women being scared of men increasing their value over period of time because it kinda reminded me a few such situations and it's really the case. Especially like you said: "they have a canvas and they learn to categorize and tell the high from low value" and if in a way break the pattern their system starts grinding I now recall so many situations where either my sister, my female friends or even the girls I met again after some time would get angry everytime I did something high value where "it shouldn't be so"

When I entered high school, I wasn't popular or anything, but I became close friends with this girl who liked me throughout grade 9. Looking back, I see how she dissuaded me from persuing popularity and other girls through shit tests and getting me afraid of embarrassing myself, eventhough deep down I knew that if I persued popularity and other girls, I would be successful (after a learning curve). She reinforced the part of me that wanted to remain comfortable and went against the part of me that was a risk taker, and it is fully my fault for trusting her opinions over mine. I never realized that what she did was shit test until now. Never trust anyone elses opinions over yours, live your life on your own decisions because if you don't, youll be like me constantly thinking back and wondering what if

Had a similar situation but not cause of trusting a girl but trusting my very religious parents. I asked myself 'what if' many times, looking back at my high school years where I've seen I had great potential. But I managed to recreate that at my work through proactively building relationships on humor and trust and now I'm seen as popular lol My conclusion: never give up, you only have 1 life so you might as well make the most of it PS you can't change the past but you can learn from it and use those insights to make yourself an awesome present

What an insight that complicated vs hard is! I've always wondered why I just love getting beat up, exhausted, cold and fucked up and have no problem dealing with that, but when it comes down to do a even a mildly complex thing, I just don't want to. I'm not an idiot, I just don't want to fill out forms. I always want 0 complexity and maximum hardship. It has left me a fucking wreck at times and I've always wondered why I can persist through almost inhuman shit, but don't want to have anything to do with things that involve other people or managing things to make it happen. People are complicated and managing is boring. I was lifting rocks out of a field just yesterday. I love that shit.

These videos used to motivate the crap out of me, now the depress the crap out of me because as I'm listening, I realize that I've learned everything they're saying and have spent years implementing it, yet I still somehow fail across the board. Nothing is more depressing that hearing "once you start doing this and see results, you'll realize how easy it is", meanwhile you're like, I've been doing this for years and haven't gotten any results.

Being high value means you are in pursuit of your passions regardless of what other people think. It's a rewarding journey with many highs and lows. If you waited for the appropriate time to attack or hunt food years ago, you would have died of starvation first. When men began hunting in groups and began coordinating the attacks, survival rates skyrocketed.

I feel like the dangers of value chasing should have been mentioned, especially considering "high value" is extremely relative. For someone who grew up with nothing acheiving 6 figs/yr could be considered a monumental achievement for them, while other guys are low millionaires and don't consider themselves worth shit and strive to be high millionaires/billionaires. Same for fitness. When I was young, I told myself if I could bench 250lbs I'd be the shit. Now much older, I can bench 275 and have simply moved the goal post to 300... While it is good to constantly strive to better yourself, know that "high value" is hyper relative and subjective and you should also strengthen your inner character to love yourself with the condition you are currently in.

Jake Payne : this is number one advice most people should know, so happy you’ve nailed it. The term “high value” needs to be replaced in the community We need to understand romance is just a micro game in life, and life as a macro game is meant to be a fun joyful ride There’s obviously generalized goals as humans, survival and thriving being the most common given that we don’t want to die, but the thing is, it’s way easier to survive nowadays without being a king or the leader of the pack. There’s plenty for everyone. The wisest and easiest way of being an “alpha male” nowadays is just to embrace our personal favorite hobbies/ foods/work and being so full of joy that we’re always in a good mood, inspired, joyful and fulfilled It’s not about accomplishments more so than aligning to genuine lifestyles So, being a “beta male”/“loser” is all about not really valuing life’s varied fun and valuing us strictly as products. Unable to see there’s room for millions of sexy, healthy, fun men and women and relationships without the toxic, foolish and obsessive impulse to outcompete everyone.

I’ve always wondered about this. I have close friends that are girls and whenever I tell them about my dating life, they are always telling me how I shouldn’t be meeting girls in public. They always say, “you don’t even know her, why are you trying to go on a date with her,” or, “you’re not being yourself,” or, “just get a girlfriend by being friends with her for a while and then asking her out,” 😂. Also, Incase you’re wondering, my guy friends say the exact same thing. So people really don’t want you to do better in general. I just love the bad advice that I get. It’s not like I haven’t tried being friends with a girl lol.

Honestly, I think most people simply don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. Society has put limits on what is deemed acceptable and they only reinforce those limits on themselves and others. Never listen to anybody that so willingly accepts mediocrity just for the sake of fitting in. These people are destined to be followers so they would never understand. Let them have their safe, boring lives and rejoice in the amount of opportunity coming your way. No need to rub it in, you’ll be so far ahead it wouldn’t matter

It's may be not doing better, but "doing something" because rules in real life =/= rules of according to society. Women have too much choice compared to men. Don't let them women fuck us with online dating, while asking us to still be traditionnal in our pursue, when they are NOT traditionnal in their choice.

spot. on. Every word is 110% true. My family on both sides grew up poor. My dad decided he was going to make something of himself and went into tech and he succeeded but he decided to leave his family behind (and me to) to pursue those dreams and succeed at becoming the first family millionaire. Spent it all then died lol. Not mad at him, he did his thing and his company survives without me. He thought I was a loser and didn't want me in his company /shrug. What gets me upset is that I wanted to become a high value guy too but everyone not only chastised me but tried to pull me back down. I was tired of the way life was because I too had the same skillset as my father, not just an ego. Able to network like no other and understand technology like no other as well as be able to talk to be and bring passion to the table and get everyone excited. What I did not expect was everyone in my family and all my friends not only NOT wanting me to become high value but taking active steps to sabotage the process to make sure I fell back down. Tugging on the rope and trying to break rocks while climbing the mountain to prove that its not possible. This was the one thing I wish I had known about. It would have made the process easier and I would have dropped them all in heartbeat and saved myself so much pain and heartache. Eventually all my friends and family left me alone and exiled me. At this point its just easier to climb to the top of the mountain and deal with the last of the challenges instead of going back down. For me I was done with the bs and just start googling for solutions on my computer after work everyday. Other people were successful and were not pyramid scheme artists so I could be too. Digging through the TONS of bad mentors was another challenge all its own. Took awhile to get calibrated and sift through all the snake oil salesmen to finally find what I knew was good material.
