Not bigger? You do realize she is a GOD..... You can't get much higher than she has. She has been speaking her mind with zero apology, and total disregard for anyone else's opinion since she was about 18 doing spoken word and slam poetry. She has earned sitting back and chilling with a talk show....

This is so good. First timer as a host, as African-American, a woman, but she made it so easy, smooth, and went very well. Ive got jaw dropping

Whoppi is the greatest. Spending a lovely evening watching all her Oscar performances on youtube. Her and Billy would be SO great as Oscar co-hosts.

Whoopi was one of my favorite movie stars growing up. I loved her as the Oscars host too--she's so naturally charismatic and funny, and has the epic presence to calmly face that giant audience the way many younger hosts have been unable to do. Whoopi is a true star~~

80's and 90's Hollywood was sooooo much better actual legit actors! And this velvet dress on Whoopi is everything😍

(Actually in this clip Whoopi has some jojes that I don't get, about some people I don't know, lol) So I did get the jokes and there were some good ones, but making jokes about one thing for 4 hours? Gábor Vág Chris Rock ridiculed black people all throughout as well, He didn't coddle them, even insulted Will Smith et al. It's the white people who feel insecure about how minorities - Asians, Hispanics, Blacks, Natives - have been feeling in daily life being the only minority in every workplace.

blognewb That was my other problem, he didn't mention Asians, Hispanics. He only talked about blacks as diversity. At least I don't recall any jokes about not awarding asian, hispanic etc. actors. And actually the Will Smith/Jada joke was the best, cause I found it funny that Jada Pinkett started to talk about this issue. I mean okay, at least someone started it, but if it was Viola Davis, it would've been much better, cause she's a great talent. Jada, not so much.
