Actually, Deshuan was really good, almost as good as Mahomes. The problem was the coach destroyed the team, then he had a nearly two year layoff. Mahomes have been in a consistent system his whole career with a great defense with weapons and a great coach...

@KingOChu not saying they were world beaters, but they were always pretty good. You're right, though, they've gotten better lately. However, Watson was doing well with a team that ended up being devoid of weapons and weakness in his line. Mahomes has never had to deal with that which is great for him. Two years off can take away from anyone's abilities, plus with that shoulder injury, Watson is going to be one of those stories of what could have been...

@@dzabageo Oh, thank you. The thing about Apple is there is no escape from the reminders. It is everywhere. It would have been nice. LOL. No big deal. I started in the market back in 1992 or so and there was another one that I bought and sold. It was called Stratacom which rocketed and was bought by Cisco which rocketed for years. It would have been worth a couple million. I would have taken profits all along but a couple hundred thousand would have been nice. Hey, you can't make the money unless you buy it and hold it. Today, I see the market as a house of cards. I hear kids talking about it being easy money.... that is not a good sign.

@Real Estate Investing It was 200 shares at $17 per share which I want to say would be around $1.5 million today. However, I never in a million years would have held all the shares. A $200k profit would have been realistic. It is less about the money.... which I have very little of, and more about Apple being everywhere. I cannot escape it. Constant reminders by the minute. It is ok, though. It would have been nice to have been right once. I had the chance.... but unless you make the move and take the risk, you can't cry.

it’s almost like they don’t have real opinions on shows like these, skip and shannon make it so obvious. they always have to disagree, shannon most of the time has the popularly accepted view because he’s the hof nfl player and skip gets to be the laughing stock. at the time, they thought the mahomes pick was a bad pick so obviously shannon gets to talk about that, while skip had to go with the opposite for entertainment purposes.

@@mjmiat I kinda disagree. The show 5 years ago was totally different, I almost don't even recognize it now. It wasn't even a debate show, more like round table discussion with guests. I believe that's when they were the most honest about their individual perspectives on things. And if you listen to their takes back then, they actually made legit points with legit evidence that properly backed their opinions. These days skip will latch onto the most meaningless BS evidence to support his overall BS hot take, and shannon does too but not as bad as skip. Skip these days be like "okay, my turn! lebron scored 40 points 10 rebounds 10 assists 0 turnovers and won the game...bUt wHat DiD hE dO iN tHe fOuRtH QuArTeR? On a scale of 1-10 that's a 5 for lebron and I'm being generous!"

Look at the Kawhi Leonard situation, Skip Bayless hated him the entire 2018-19 season until the next year and they made him choose between Leonard and LeBron (Skip’s cash cow).

I don't see how you could actually watch any Patrick Mahomes game at Texas Tech and NOT like this move for Kansas City. Dude has star potential and pairing his arm talent with a deep threat like Tyreek Hill, a QB Guru like Andy Reid and a weapon like Travis Kelce can be a problem for years to come.

When ? Sometimes I question some people's football IQ and football is not my favorite sport nor do I have a high IQ for it . Although Patrick played in the BIG 12 , doesn't mean he played against the BIG BOYS . Watson played Bama twice , beat them , had to beat Florida State ,. Not saying ACC is the best conference but it's not as easy as the BIG 12 . Additionally , AFC west is going to be tough for like 4-8 years Bc of the Raiders and Broncos .

Most nonQB nfl players hate that QBs can sit and get paid to develop but other positions gotta produce immediately. Even if you aren’t a good at your position at first you better play special teams or you’ll be on the practice squad quickly

6 years later later Trubisky is on his 4th team, Watson has 1 playoff win, and Mahomes has 2 League MVP's, has hosted the AFC Championship Game EVERY YEAR since, been in 3 of that 4 Super Bowls, 2 Super Bowl Rings and 2 Super Bowl MVP's but yeah... Watson is going to have best career.....all 3 of these "Experts" couldn't have been more wrong if they tried

It is funny how Skip was the only one for Mahomes, but he hates him now even after winning 3 Superbowls.

5 years later, this is comedy seeing these takes, especially Skip’s given how he was correct on Mahomes and his inadvertent prediction of Deshaun should’ve been drafted by CLE 😂

My favorite review was from Steven Ruiz of USA Today after the 2017 draft: Grade: C- Analysis: Calling Mahomes a project is a major understatement. He’s nowhere near ready to play in the NFL. And, honestly, he may never be. Between his inconsistent accuracy due to poor mechanics, his tendency to bail from clean pockets and his lack of field vision, he’s going to leave as many big plays on the field as he creates. This was a risky pick.

Actually it depends on how you look at it. Mahomes didn't play from day one. He sat out the whole first season learning. And as skip pointed out high IQ so he learned fast, KC moved on from Alex smith........ not sure what is not like here
