Emma performance was amazing

I really liked Otto in this episode, probably for the first time ever. And I'm glad that we were shown his wise side. He was the right Hand of two kings who managed to maintain peace and rule wisely. And this was largely thanks to Otto. But in the end, his time passed, and he took on his soul a sin for which the royal family will pay on both sides. And of course, thank that they FINALLY mentioned Daeron, who should have appeared in season 1, so as not to shock the audience now, but we have what we have... P.s. Aegon played by Tom Glynn-Carney turned out great. There is simply no more controversial character in the series. He literally drives you crazy, goes from hate to love and in circles.

15:44 Okay, while rhaenyra obviously wants to keep Jace safe after losing Luke, i viewed her sending Baela, “Daemon’s kid”, instead to patrol simply bc she’s currently more level headed compared to Jace. He is hellbent on revenge and at any sign of opportunity to engage with the greens, he’d most likely attack even if it means dying. Rhaenyra doesn’t view Daemon’s children any less lovingly than her own

Yup that's him, Daeron Targaryen - Alicent's fourth kid and her youngest son. He was actually hinted last season in episode 10. Daemon says - "We have 13 dragons against their (Greens) 4". One of the 4 Green dragonriders is Daeron. Without spoiling much - he is a very crucial character in story going forward. So, just keep an eye on him.

At first I was worried that the writers completey excluded Daeron from the show.. They finally mentioned my boy 😩👏 The Cargyll twins duell was so emotional I can't even 😭 Tom Glynn Carney, Emma D'Arcy and Rhys Ifans put a god-tier performance in this episode! peak acting.

@@brianalex5083as an anti-green, Daeron is one of my favs from the books and the greens. He also rides my favorite dragon during the dance. He’s like the lonely underdog 🥹

Daeron easily my favorite green I honestly enjoy all the green characters I’ve always found them to be more interesting but Daeron honestly just might be one of the best to come out of this generation

Tom and Rhys are my favorite performance this episode

Rhaenyra and Daemon fight was the best scene.

Poor Rhaena lost her betrothed from her mother’s dragon I wish they would let us see her real reaction. We only got a glimpse of her in epsiode 1.

Many kings (and queens) were protecting their heirs by keeping them from battlefield. Jacaerys is Rhaenyra's Crown Prince - it is practica she doesn't want to risk sending him.What is imsportant, is that Baela doesn't act as it if was ufair - she seems to understand stituation and agrees with her step-mother.

Daeron is Alicent & Viserys 4th children and 3rd Son. He is pretty cool character and has the same age as Jace. Don't want to tell u much but he is really important character in the Dance of Dragons & even get's a cool nickname of Daeron the Daring .

Y’all got it confused but it’s to be expected tbh -Syrax is Rheanyra’s dragon -Caraxes but Daemon’s -Vermax I believe is Jace’s (Rheanyra’s son) Other dragons just so you have the info: -Arrax was Luke’s -Vhagar is Aemond’s -Sunfyre is Aegon’s -Dreamfyre is Helena -Moondancer is either Beala or Rhena’s I can’t remember exactly. There’s a few more but I can’t remember all their names and idk if it’ll be the same as the books yet for riders

That’s the last time she was shown on screen interacting with mysaria but seeing as how Mysaria has been a prisoner at dragon stone, it’s not crazy to assume that Rhaenyra may have seen Mysaria or spoken with Mysaria after her crimes against team black.

This episode felt like a soap opera Game of Thrones was better Glad Otto is out and I think him watching the after math/fallout of his scheming play out from the sidelines actually isn’t enough punishment He also should have known his plan wasn’t going to work YEARS ago considering how much of a loser Aegon has CLEARLY been since young childhood Viserys was a hypocrite HE MARRIED ALICENT!!! While making Rhaenyra marry Laenor. He didnt marry strategically but made Rhaenyra do so. Had be married Laena - NONE of this would have happened!!!
