It is unrealistic when you compare it, say, to when Vince just anti climacticly crumbles in place not moving anywhere. But Austin was right that in those particular events, it was all eyes focused on these 2 men in the main event.

I gotta say Shane. Especially when he spits the beer out as he gets the stunner, that was just peak WWE right there. Peak attitude era. The roar of the crowd in the background just adds to it. That moment was truly the greatest moment of entertainment we’ll ever experience.

I respect that stance, it was a moment that’s one of one. My rebuttal would be… That was one compared to dozens by The Rock. Even in this clip they showed him sell in multiple matches the same way. I think that’s what Steve appreciated from the next biggest guy in the company to him.

One of the best for sure. Selling is often a bit of a lost art. Rick Flair was the GOAT of selling though IMO. I mean, the 2 moves that still carry his name are the Flair Flop and the Flair Corner Bump, and they are both selling moves.

I always loved how Angle sold it. But for me, THE stunner of all stunners is the one Austin gave to HBK @ Wrestlemania 14, where he catches his leg, spins it then hits it *_PERFECTLY!_* The flow of it, the way Shawn snaps back as he lands, it's just flawless. I wish you could have that as a stunner version in the WWE 2K games.

And we only had to wait like 20 years until Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson himself revealed why he oversold it in a Tweet in 2017 stating it was because him & Austin betted a case of beer on how well he could sell his famous stunner so Wrestlemania 17 (2001) was pure joy seeing him bounce towards the ropes and his legs bounce off the ropes onto the mat 🙂

I can understand how heartbreaking it would have been for the 90s kid to see this man retire way sooner than ppl thought because am a 2000s kid i know how heartbreaking i was when Dean left the WWE and still i am.

The way Santino landed after the mid-air salute was the cherry on top

I love this man! Like so many others, Stone Cold was given a crappy gimmick, went home, came back, and defined/ruled an era. One of the absolute pillars of professional wrestling. He's finally starting to look like he sounds.

When I was younger I loved the rocks stunner it looked like it killed him lol but IMO and I think most people will agree that the “prettiest” stunner was Scott Hall at Wrestlemania.

@@KingOfWinter Not at all, Scott Hall sell is not even close to nowhere near the "prettiest". That was a huge oversell way too overdone, not good selling one bit. Was that a pretty OVERsell though? Yes it was. The one who actually sold it the greatest is HBK who you coincidentally discrediting against to Scott Hall. No one had a more perfection to that move to how HBK sold it at WM XIV/14. Never seen a more perfect sell like that in general.
