More than likely a recently released rescue . I've fostered an abandoned baby raccoon . In the end I just let her live like a free range cat . She eventually met a group of raccoons in the neighborhood and moved in with them . Whoever rescued this one probably just let him/her go instead of gradually letting them back into the wild as I did .

This is a tame raccoon, a former pet who thinks humans are good. She's so hungry, she doesn't know how to find food on her own. Her looking so sadly through the fence broke my heart. Humans are horrible sometimes.

They’re not trying to hurt you or being mean but they’re also not leaving any room for you to linger and take your time haha. If that was socially acceptable it’s definitely the way I’d do it.

As someone who lives somewhere with tons of raccoons and have frequent encounters with them, there is something so weird about raccoons. They love to stare right at you and have no problem holding eye contact for long periods of time without getting aggressive or seeming particularly bothered by it, which is unusual for animals.

Brombartje - funny cuz I was tryin to save this beautiful red caterpillar In front of my friends apartment. I was moving some paintings for him and one had decided to hitchhike into my car on one of the paintings and I noticed him luckily so I thought oh no he needs to go back he doesn’t wanna go to storage! It’s like isix in the morning and I’m trying to scoot this caterpillar on to leaf so I can put him in a better spot and leave him. I’m talking to a caterpillar like this guy talks to the raccoon and I was thinking the same thing. Damn, neighbors are probably hearing me.n naturally they’re looking out the window and they think I’m a nut! Yup Guilty as charged

why did i find this video so funny??? i cant even XD. the constant "nononono" whenever something went wrong and how the lil dude wouldnt leave, how the guy filming lifted him with a rake, the guys general reactions to everything the raccoon does, the "dont attack me! im video taping this"- its all so perfect XD

Nah, the guy might own some animals as well like dogs and cats that they or the raccoon can harm. Plus the raccoon could get too used in the place and maybe his house isn't the best for that

I was cracking up most of the video! I was waiting for the raccoon to run down the rake and jump on the guy. The guy was so funny!
