Some very good points here from Bowen. What about some of the training partners from Larry Wheels? That "earthquake" guy for example. Or someone else we have seen from there who is at the same size and similar level.

I like your review on this video. we must encourage young athletes to show their abilities to the wider world. While senior athletes rest, young athletes take part in this sport.

not sure on next match.. you popped in my mind but for the same reasons i dismissed it at least for now, i know some threw Johns name out there but that may be in another 2 matches are so maybe 6 months ish depending on how many matches he will end up doing, dont know much about Aabhas but what i do think is the Juji match would be or could be a good next up as Auden is known but with these new guys new eyes come to the sport which if Auden is anything like his dad will be an awesome plus, after specially at the rate of his growth atm, John Brzenk should be looked at as a great point to go too as his experience and abilities even at almost 60 far outweigh others and sure its nice to win but losses at this stage will give him tons more experience to become that champion we can all see him going to. that aside, great analysis on this, for future armwrestlers these kinds of videos are super important great job Ryan!!

Hamza. Auden wasn't ready for hamza a year ago. But now auden has been training like a mad man and is the heavier guy. Would be an amazing match because they are the same age and almost same height and frame

In all fairness, those 300lbs marines have zero knowledge of arm wrestling technique/strategy. Whisperer clearly took advantage of that. Auden is not only strong but technically proficient too.

I say Tom Nelson from California. He’s about 240lbs which Auden could be in 6 months- a year or so. He’s got name recognition from game of arms and very experienced.

They are 2 armwrestlers who are great at promotion...they have a specific and special niche

I haven't seen much of Riekerd recently but yes similar age and size, Riekerd might have a bit of a weight advantage but that'll be good to see 👍 Or even Riekerd vs the whisperer for comparison.

I’m in agreement with you about Abas seemingly being a prospective match up. What I read between the lines of his dad and him is they are maybe veering more towards the marketing to the regular crowds and not to the existing arm wrestling scene. Either ways I understand your and their stance on the issues. While the walk out and in -between matches were entertaining, the match itself was underwhelming. Both did their best to make it entertaining, however. Kinda feel like they used ET as the sacrificial lamb for Auden’s big stage debut. I really liked his debut at Arm Wars better. He took a win and a loss there. In short, I think Auden should take his unique situation and skirt both lines in order to grow the sport and level up himself like his dad did/does.

I think we should match up.

Ooooh.....it's almost doable. But I thinknRiekered has too much horsepower. He is truly a phenomenal athlete. And yes... same age.....but.....I don't think audens technical aspects would make up enough of the gap. Riekered moves quite well behind all the power.

Shame that armwrestling now has just the "supermatches", so there are all these issues that come with them. Wouldn't be a problem if there was an AMC-like tournament, to facilitate more matches. Supermatches only make sense for the very top people, tournaments make sense for everyone.

I dont think its fair to put him up against anyone on the top level. If he faces a lighter guy he will get get backlash for that and if he faces someone in his weight he will get run over. I would love to see the youtube dokummentary "the road of Auden" where he goes to different countries and clubs and learns about armwrestling on the highest level. Turkiye to practise with Engin. Kazakhstan and train with shardara armwrestlingclub. Bulgaria, Italy, Australia and clubs in the US. Maybe even doing commpetitions in those countries. Then we will have some rivalries that could be interesting and Auden will have come a long way and he will be better prepared for the really good guys.

This was his first big stage. You take any and every match regardless if you're way stronger or way weaker than the opponent. Sure if you already have a big resume on you can start being more picky though. Edit: and im pretty sure many people didn't know the level auden was at compared to whisperer. Even looking at all the comments on videos leading up to the match, it was still quite split on who would win. So you can't really put this all on the young man.

Well when they organized the match he was much lighter and weaker, so it’s going to be tough to find a real match when he’s getting heavier all the time. Also, stacking wins builds hype, both good and bad, which ultimately is all good lol
