The trailer makes it look like they're all tripping balls on LSD
Yes, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf is indeed an incredible film.
One of the greatest one word lines...VANISH! 😂
NO, it's not about laughing, it's about defeat, tragedy, despair and the lacerating agony of failed ambition... it also happens to be, at moments, very funny. Burton and Taylor simply burn up this Broadway behemoth in a master class of dramatic brilliance.
CONGRATULATIONS WARNNER BROS. ON YOUR 100TH ANNIVERSARY! YOU ALWAY HAD THE "BEST" !"

thanks and r.i.p., little boy.
Mein geliebter Richard Burton, Dieser Film hat mich genauso "ausgeknockt" wie "A Streetcar named desire"! Schauspielkunst und Dramaturgie der höchsten Art!
It's depicted here somewhat as a horror movie. Maybe in some ways it is...

I think I would argue instead of a horror movie it's depicted as an absurdist film... which is what Edward Albee, the play write specialized in.
Mike Nichols also directed The Graduate.
This trailer is creepier than the actual film
Sad that nobody had to act in this film this was real life.
Call me crazy, but the voiceover on this trailer sounds like Orson Welles.
They were married twice.
What a lame trailer. Jeez.
Is that Sidney Poitier narrating?
The play version's alright but the film's really unbearable until the last 20 mins. Unrealistic overdramatic acting isn't for films.
