Gib vs. Kenny is gonna be fireworks. I was really impressed by Kenny tho. He was using the Philly shell, had good head movement, good footwork, good combinations/hand speed, jab had aimbot, and he turned into the influencer version of Jaron Ennis towards the end of that 5th round lol. I do wanna see how he looks when someone like Gib puts him under pressure and offers more resistance tho.

Most impressive thing from Kenny was his distance control, he was able to Philly shell comfortably because he established his range early, knew when he was safe and wasn't Windersson literally couldn't get past the jab of Kenny, if he can do the same against Gib I think it's an easy night These dudes don't have the footwork required to shift and get past/around Kenny's reach, Gib is a dog but I don't think his footwork is on Kenny's level

It all comes down to if gib can get by Kenny’s jab, Kenny’s going to be so long compared to gib and gibs footwork is sometimes stumbly he could struggle getting inside until later rounds, he just can’t lose all the early rounds and get outpointed from the start because he starts a little slow

Spot on breakdown, never seen anyone shift or display the footwork you would need to get past Kenny's jab, plus the reads Kenny was making with the uppercut as well If you enter the pocket lazy Kenny will catch you and honestly as you said at times Gibs footwork is sloppy at best Gib would have to come out at a high pace from the jump and just hit everything, target the arms and hips even if you can get away with it He needs to slow Kenny as soon as he can if he wants to win the fight, if it stays at a range where Gib is forced to box with Kenny it's gonna be a long night for Gib

Nah, Kenny made him a punching bag, nunes tried multiple times to get in past that jab and throw to the body and head, but kenny didn't let him, Leon disrespecting for no reason there. that being said gib beats kenny i think. gib brings preasure, the type kenny cant handle, once gib gets around the jab and the long range its a rough day for kenny, but he deserves respect for that performance, the improvement and the things he showed in the ring.

King Kenny may cause similar problems as Jake Paul done to Gib. Stylistically, Kenny will use that jab as a spear to hurt Gib from a distance and wobble Gib (just like when he turned into mr krabs with Jake). Gib has shown improvement since, but hasn’t been tested against a outboxer as skilled and as physically towering as Kenny. If Gib gets inside that reach though…lights out, Gib wins by KO.

I believe gib looked the best on the night, doesn’t take anything away from kenny performance, however gib was working the body and putting on alot of pressure, kenny will struggle against the pressure as we have seen before, if kenny can just land alot of shots and outpunch gib he will win on points, but i just dont see that happening and i see gib winning the final

After McBroom v gib 1 it seemed like gib would just smoke the likes of slim etc ,same with after the 2nd McBroom fight but after the Jarvis win the slim fight seems a lot closer idk maybe it's the fighting styles which made gib look less explosive in the Jarvis fight

I knew Gib was going to beat Jarvis. For a Gib vs Kenny, I see Gib closing the distance and it being a fight in the inside. It's not going to be a range fight, believe Gib is going to rough him up and disable Kenny's biggest weapon which is the jab.

In my opinion I think that there is a lot to breakdown with Kenny & GIB's wins and why their is a divide of opinion based on their performances. First Kenny has made a lot of improvements since his last two fights and when looking at this performance it is evident he has worked on those issues and flaws hence a "Flawless Performance". He also had to make a point that he is here to win and he accomplished that 100%. Now with GIB. Gib has been extremely active and consistent with his training, improvements and results since the Jake loss which I feel he doesn't get the recognition to be honest. He always seems to be deemed the underdog to his opponents or it is a close call even with his consistency of performances and wins. Kenny is prone to making mistakes and I just see too many openings that GIB could take advantage of that winderson didn't. I say this because GIB is a volume & pressure fighter while Kenny is a keep range, on the outside in out style fighter. Kenny is prone to keeping his chin to high and although made a lot of improvements in this performance this fight will be completely different against GIB and for him to win I think he will need to make a big amount of improvements to handle GIBS style defensively. For this reason I side with GIB but I am a fan of both and would love to see them both win but unfortunately not the way this thing works. All the best to both gentlemen.

I know that seems impossible but if gib wins this fight with Kenny plus 4 more fights that are as tough or tougher than Kenny I don’t see why not try to rematch jake. I want ksi vs jake too but at this point I don’t know if there ever gonna fight.

Leon’s right, king Kenny’s performance was one of the best in the scene of not the best in the scene. But when you fight someone who’s not their to get you out of the ring then it’s easy to have a good performance. We know Kenny couldn’t do this to Gib, Kenny can still beat gib and cause problems with his jab, but not the way he beat Nunez. If he does then Kenny is no doubt top 5fp. I was stupid because I said Jarvis would win because I picked feelings rather then calculated analysis on who has more experience and opponent levels and gibs activity level.

Daley said he and leon are hardly talking during deji’s camps. Makes you wonder how involved leon really is on the gameplan side of things 👀👀

Technically looking at fights, I agree with Leon when he disagreed with Vidal's take on Kenny's performance, but me being a person that doesn't know all that technical stuff like he does, BRO Kenny was more entertaining to watch. And being that most of us the audience aren't boxing heads that catch all the little things, this was just easier to digest and see who's winning plus the show boating from Kenny was just what i think we want to see. If Kenny just knocked him out quickly and moved on that does nothing for our (my) entertainment. cool knock out. one-sided af. I'll forget all about it in a week or two.
