Henderson is just incredibly overrated. lol. He's a solid, hardworking player. for sure. But he's not exactly a game changer or someone that will dominate and control the midfield regularly is he? @@bri1085 well.. Not to me. Some of the midfielders that I believe have always been considered class.. Scholes. Gerrard. Lampard. Pirlo. Xavi. Iniesta. Modric. Just to name a few. Let's say you have no other context in terms of what qualities the team needs. Just choose which CM you'd take. Would you choose Henderson over any of the players I mentioned above?

Allison has 20 cleansheets this season by the way. Has saved Liverpool 7 goals from 1v1s

I understand but Thiago just picked his form lately. He was poor last season and the beginning of this season was not so smooth for him neither. Kova has been On and Off specially due to his reoccurring injuries. And without a ball carrier, that midfield they made will just be so stagnant.

I think Mendy is a top keeper. However, I’ll go as far to say that to put him ahead of Allison is ‘criminal’. I don’t think football fans appreciate that Liverpool’s system would crumble without their goalkeeper. He’s an incredible sweeper, brilliant distribution but most importantly, he is the best one on one keeper in the world, which is so important because Liverpool’s high line results in at least 1 one on one situation being conceded every match, yet he almost always makes the save but we naturally focus on Liverpool’s goals, rather than the save(s) made

Finally someone said it! James has hit the nail on the head regarding all this praise for City winning the league without a striker. Firmino isn't an out and out striker. Yes what City have done is impressive, but they weren't even the first team to do it! Also Fabinho is the best DM in the league. Kante is better as a CM not DM. I'd have Fabinho in DM with Thiago and Kante in front.

I’m trying to work out how long ago this was recorded. Thiago should be one of the first names on this team and Fabinho’s form gets him in over Kante. Diaz could (and probably should) be in the conversation with Mane at CF. Alisson over Mendy and day of the week as well

There's no way Mendy's in the goal over Alisson.

On current form - it's hard to justify Kante over Fabinio. Mendy over Allison is frankly preposterous.

People who don't watch Liverpool don't understand that Liverpool don't just have an amazing 'Front 3' we have an amazing 'Defensive 3' which is Allisson, VVD & Fabinho as our Defensive Spine, when those 3 are together Liverpool is incredibly tough to beat. They're as important to us winning anything as our 'Front 3' are.

How does Mendy nick it against Ali? Allison is technically better than Mendy bruh. Mendy might be current champion, but Ali has been there and done that too. He’s also the only GK to ever win the Copa America, CL and PL Golden glove in 1 season. Also, he won the Yashin award. Mendy is a good GK, but no way does he get ahead of Brazil’s number 1, Ali. Thiago has been an absolute shadow of his former Bayern self since moving to Liverpool. He’s been good the last month. I doubt you watch Kovacic with a comment like that but what he does for the Chelsea 11 is far superior in terms of what Thiago offers. Dribbling past Mctominay and Maguire doesn’t make a player good.

It's just because it's his best position based on his attributes so I understand why he's been put there

For every goal or assist James has/will have Trent will have 4 ...he also matches and beats him in every single defensive stat

@@sebastiankemp.j1297 you could literally use your eyes to see that the balls/passes that Reece produces and makes are no where close to as pinpoint, accurate or really just as good as Trent. Doesn’t matter if he doesn’t have Salah to assist to, just use your eyes. Trent is clear.

@@macky453 Reece has 5 goals and 6 assists in 20 prem games (with many games not 90 min). Trent has 12 assists and 2 goals in in 29, while he also plays for the most goal producing and attacking team in the prem. Im not saying Reece is better, but Trent is not clear

To the lads defence this was recorded just after the league cup final and literally since after that game Thiago has gone up 3 levels and is playing so well it’s ridiculous. If this video was done a few months later Kante, Kovacic and Thiago is the midfield they agree on.

Best dribbling CB's in the world would probably be Josko Gvardiol from Leipzig or Jules Kounde from Sevilla, Even Milan Skriniar from inter is better than him at it.

How is Mendy over Allison? Literally Allison saved Liverpool countless times , and don't get me wrong Mendy is a good goalkeeper, but this season he messed up quite a few matches that cost Chelsea important points

Midfield should be Kante - Fab - Thiago, as Kanté never plays in that deep role regardless: he’s a box to box player. Goalkeeper is no doubt Alisson. Mendy had an alright spell but Alisson is emerging as an alltimer.

@@Sneakz97 Chelsea fan here. Thiago Silva over Rudiger for sure. Rudiger massively over rated by oposition fans whilst Thiago Silva massively under rated. Rudiger is shit in a back four - there's a reason he barely played under Lampard. He's a system player at best. Watch him flop at Real Madrid just like Courtois and Hazard did in their first seasons struggling to adapt (yes Courtois is world class now but he struggled at the start)

Regardless of when it was filmed Hendo shouldn't be a given based on this season's form.

Thiago has been liverpools best central midfielder this season...

Mendy over Alison is actually criminal, hendo over Thiago is really debatable after Thiago has been so great recently, if this was filmed today I think there would be a lot of different decisions.

Reece James isn't in the same conversation as Trent anymore, this is an outdated argument, Trent has proven he is far superior.

Rory knows ball he just accepts and puts robbo,salah,Bobby and mane in without any stupid arguments. RESPECT ✊

How is Alisson not in this team? He's kept Liverpool in the title race with some of his performances when Liverpool aren't at their best

Thiago's been quality and can do things Kovacic can't. I rate both highly, but it has to be said, the putting down of Thiago here was nuts! He's been very good. Maybe he doesn't slot in perfectly ala Bayern at Liverpool, but he's become incredible central to the way we play. Also rating Mendy over Alisson as though that's a straight forward decision, nuts!
