So we win a trophy we've missed out on for 30 years and came extremely close multiple times but still failed and got constantly mocked throughout it all. Then when LFC finally manage to get the PL its unbearable, acting like we don't have a right to be after all the shit and mocking we got for those years. Said it before and will say it again..these debates should be longer..

I hate how delusional Arsenal fans are about their team and players. And they can never accept a fair loss EVER.

The reasons why spurs think they are bigger than actually are is due to how good they have been in the past 6 years compared to how bad they were beforehand despite not winning a trophy. As a Spurs fan, you have to admit that we aren't as successful as Arsenal and Chelsea, however, that doesn't mean we aren't going to say we are better than Chelsea or Arsenal based off a game or a season ( seasons if we are talking strictly Arsenal ). We a definitely not a big club based on footballing success however we are in terms of assets. i.e, Very very good stadium, Incredible training ground and if you were to tell mid-table piss poor Tottenham 10 years ago that we would have Jose Mourinho as a manager in 10 years time we would tell you that you are insane. That's like telling Southhampton Klopp will manage you in 2030

As a Chelsea fan, you’re description of Tottenham, through your own eyes as a Tottenham fan, is exactly how a view Tottenham as a club as well. In my opinion Chelsea’s biggest London’s rivals are basically on even ground right now. The difference is Tottenham fans are much more self aware than Arsenal fans. And Arsenal fans arnt even the worst. The worst most obnoxious fans all reside in the north.

As a Liverpool fan who has grown up being mocked by the song 'its always your year, just like the last one, it's always your year'. You can bet I'm going to make sure those who mock me know it was finally our year... It's like we go on at Everton not winning anything because it triggers them in the name of banter, and when they do win something again, which I hope they do, you can't tell me they won't be letting every Liverpool fan know about it?

As for the myth about Klopp blaming the wind for losses, you’ll find that Klopp has referenced wind loads of times over the years, every time being in games that we have won or drawn. Also if you’ve ever played football, you’d know what that extreme wind is a very relevant thing to talk about.

Some United fans dare to compare Pogba to De Bruyne and others tried to big up low profile wins in Solskjaer's favourable fixtures as interim United manager. One Everton fan tried to argue with me that The Merseyside Derby is a bigger game than Liverpool / Manchester United fixtures as a taxi driver from the City of Liverpool. A City fan tried to argue that the Manchester Derby is bigger than United / Liverpool fixtures because he's from Manchester. An Arsenal fan thinks Wenger is a better manager than Mourinho despite half of Jose's success. Finally, as a United fan it pisses me right off when some United fans dare to compare Solskjaer to Klopp by saying "it took Jurgen 4 years to win a major trophy at Liverpool, give Ole the same length of time and he'll do something similar" Yet the reality is Solskjaer is No Better than David Moyes regarding win percentage per game ratio overall.

@@cf7116 behave mate no rivalry in the UK comes close to rangers celtic the fans of both sides gear up for the game a week in advance and since they dont let them play at 3 pm is because fans start fighting so just means you wake up at half 6 on a Sunday morning and start beving for the midday kick off

there mere fact that the Everton fan doesn't know the root of the rivalry between Liverpool and Man United is not just football, goes to show, who really lives in the city of Liverpool and knows about its history. I can't even understand how can anyone associated with the city of Liverpool can ever support anything from Manchester. That is why Everton is not the club that represents the city of Liverpool, they are just a banter club.

Erm no, wait to they achieve things until we can discuss their current day relevance. Everton are a big club in the overall grand scheme of English football but not in a modern sense, not at all. It’s just the same way Aston Villa are considered a big club, it means very little in the modern day.

Spurs in the title race 2016.. Chelsea gets in the way Spurs have a great season and are close to winning the league in 2017.. Chelsea somehow wins it Spurs in the FA cup semi 2018.. United knocks them out Spurs in the UCl final 2019.. lose to Liverpool I honestly think if spurs won all those trophies, when they should have... Chelsea and Arsenal fans would really have nothing bad to say about them

I’m a Southampton fan, our biggest rivals are obviously Portsmouth. Tbh I hate everything about them, there is nothing I like about them, the fact that ppl say that Portsmouth are a bigger club than us simply because they have one more trophy doesn’t make sense, when we smashed them 4-0 last year I wasn’t as happy as I thought I was gonna be bc they’re so irrelevant and I knew it was gonna happen

That's cause Spurs is a big club though. Just not as big as Arsenal and Chelsea now. It also acts as a middle ground for both fans so Chelsea and arsenal fans would hate each other but come together and have a laugh at spurs. That's why spurs gets talked about a lot between the two clubs.

Most Liverpool players would say Everton is the bigger rivalry between Everton and United. Fans are more invested in Liverpool-United due to the recent(past 20 years) success of the two clubs

What I hate about: Liverpool: like the Everton fan said, the worst fans when they win. Man City: represent everything wrong with modern football. Before 2008, finding a City fan would've been equivalent to finding Madeleine McCann. Plastic fans. Plastic club Leeds: Shit fans. Shit city. Shit club. SCUM. They're that annoying little insect that you just can't seem to kill for whatever reason. Arsenal: don't mind their club too much. Their fans are a cancer though. Ego of Bayern, Juve, Madrid when their team's ability has never matched it.

Difference between the Merseyside Derby and the North London Derby is that Tottenham have been better than Arsenal for a few years at least, whilst Everton rarely ever compete with Liverpool

What's wrong with having fans from outside England? I don't think the premier league would be as big as it is if if the world didn't enjoy it as much as it does.

its super embarrassing That there's so many football fans that would rather a club they hate fail than a club they love succeed. Unless is something you're directly competing against each other for who cares what another club does

this is just a big argument but I still enjoy it

Rory is the exact cause of why he hates Tottenham fans, hates them for delusions of grandeur also calls them "rivals" to a team with 2 Champions Leagues and 6 League titles...Well I wonder why they have delusions of grandeur when you're telling them their rivals is one of the most successful clubs in the league? A rivalry for me personally has to be more than just "well they're from the same city/next town over" etc, If I'm 30 and my neighbours 10 he's not a rival to me just because he lives next door and I should go slap him about, its moronic logic. You need to have an element of competitiveness for it to be an actual rivalry and just because you used to be rivals doesn't mean you will always be rivals if one side of it isn't competitive anymore.

I feel like Chelsea don't have a proper rival. Am I wrong? Yeah, Chelsea fans hate Tottenham, but for Tottenham fans, isn't Arsenal and the NL derby a way bigger thing? A real rivalry needs mutual level of hate. Which is why Liverpool fans don't care as much about Everton as they do about ManUnited, and ManUnited fans don't care as much about City as we do about Liverpool.
