Thanks for this gentlemen-style education...I'm approximately 5'7" in height and weigh about 150 lbs. I would look ridiculous in a baggy or oversized suit jacket, therefore, I can appreciate how you point out the basic understanding of a properly fitting jacket and trousers thanks for sharing!

Another great video, Okey. I recently had a DB blazer made to measure in Saville Row. I was initially under the impression it was "baggy" but in reality it's perfect - I asked them to deliver a traditional blazer and that's exactly what I got. But the modern eye is conditioned to look for a "sharper" fit. I have another off the peg Italian DB blazer. The style and cut are poles apart and I think each has their merits. As an aside, your high rise trousours and waistcoat here are on point. They look superb.

Oakey's Suit/Sport Coats look baggy because he has freakishly long arms and a wide back/broad shoulders, it makes the suit look baggy on top, but if you pay close attention, having proper knowledge, it fits him to perfection, it's just his body dimensions that create the illusion. I would maaaaaybe suggest taking in the waist a tiny bit to create a bit more silhouette at the top to avoid looking so boxy.

The point about a longer coat with a full cut trouser is excellent. Otherwise it looks like your thighs are bulging and your jacket is sitting on top. Also worth thinking about with sports jackets as well as suits. Thank you!

What are the guidelines for someone short in terms of height (5'8" and below)? Wouldn't the classic cut be too much as it creates a longer drape and cause disproportions? My challenge are that I have cyclist legs, wide back, and I workout my arms yet I'm short (5'3"). I won the proportion olympics.
