I wish we could have seen a continuation of Bionicle where Velika became the new primary antagonist, he actually could have had the Villainous charisma to succeed after the Juggernaut that was Teridax

I must say I preferred him as a matoran. In the books his riddles were legendary.

@@amajanuitales Yeah, but I am interested in what he looked like as a great being, hopefully, there will be a canonization contest for that in the future. Then again, the mystery invites more moccing opportunities!

As much as I dislike how the last few serials started a bunch of new subplots instead of tying up loose ends, even I have to admit that the Velika twist was pretty cool.

This was always one of my favourite matoran sets, when i found out the lore behind the character he became one of my favourite characters all together

In many slavic languages "velika" or variations of it mean great or big. Almost everyone dismissed this thought of foreshadowing or a connection, but I'll hold on to it, even if Greg debunks it, considering, how systematic naming conventions for characters were for Bionicle!

I know it's strange but I think that Velika's name is formerly a piece of his name and I just had the idea that his name was Velikconus the crafter

Theory: Hero factory is the far future in the bionicle timeline and mr. Makuro is actually velika in disguise, the hero factory are the enforcers of that story and mr. Makuro created them and controls them, so he rules the galaxy without anyone knowing it. Therefore velika succeeded in his conquest.

1: now that's a theory I haven't ever hear 2: sadly it can't be true bc the maker of hero factory said Tha bionicle and hero factory are not in the same universe

I think the komau is intentional in his design. Imagine what velika would do if he became a toa and his mask powers were unlocked

Unfortunately, Greg stated that Velika cannot transform into a Toa due to his mind not being biomechanical. But yes, he would be a terrifying foe if he became Toa.

Only one thing I could guess: He's the Palpatine/Sidious of Bionicle itself! Though I'm only hoping, that this time however..., he would be exposed, either by a defecting agent, the Toa Nuva who foolishly trusted in him or perhaps by Ahkmou (Having eventually gained a conscience for what he did against his own brothers). Perhaps his eventual fate; Either Takanuva deciding to slay him to rid the world of such malice..., or to spare him, and let Velika stand trial for his crimes, proving forth, that Freedom is the right, of all beings! A world, does not need forth a ruler, in the form of a Tyrant, in Disguise!

I was thinking if Ahkmou would succeed and continue with Teridax's plans like Sauron to his former master Morgoth Ahkmou doesn't carry that same weight, even if he did continue scheming he doesn't have the power to shape the future. Imagine a Continuation of Bionicle focused around Velika as the main antagonist!

For me gave more similarities with DJ Sagara from Kamen Rider gaim or Evolto from Kamen Rider Build, with emphasis on the former

He had to keep his identity a secret. Doing anything to prevent him from being "repaired" would make him stand out too much and ruin his image. He simply went along and waited till he got his revenge on the madman later on.

The great beings used technology rather than innate "powers" like the Toa and other inhabitants of the Matoran Universe so its possible that Velika was not any more powerful than an ordinary Matoran in the physical sense and met with a similar fate to other damaged/defective Matoran as a result. We never see Velika display any abilities beyond that of a Matoran other than his intellect in the books/serials after all.

to be honest the storry should just have ended becouse now we will never know how it will end

why did bionicle have to had such complicated characters wasnt there enough of the bionicle stroy making kids head spin!
