Idk man. I think busquets can control a midfield well and distribute better but Kante covers the whole field. He does far more on defense and has the legs to drive forward. Busquets is passing it to superior teammates. Leicester couldn’t have had the biggest upset in the history of world football without him.

Removing being Italian and a fan of Juve, Buffon is the GOAT. He played in the top flight of football from the 1990s until 2023. He was the most important player on the team sheet in most games he played, and single handedly would give Juve and Italy victories. Even just before retirement he was a very legitimate top flight keeper, starting over lads in their prime who were 20 years younger than him. He made me fall in love with the sport as a child, and I know many others can say the same. With that being said, love seeing all these familiar faces, I hope the best for the growth of this channel! Kante was putting in over 10 tackles and interceptions a game in his prime at Leicester. That has never been seen before and most likely won’t be seen again.

history looks kindly on Zidane his peak is insanely high but he was very much like Ronaldinho in the sense of at his best in big games but wasn’t doing it week in week out. We watch way more football now meaning a bad game against “Norwich” goes against a player. Early 2000s you could ghost 15 games and turn up in a final and be classed as the worlds best

Nesta deserves a shout as CB - never seen someone make last-minute slide tackles look so elegant. Just watch the tackle on Messi when he was already late/mid-30s. Pretty biased as a Milan fan, but... GK - Buffon/Neur DEF - Cafu/Kyle Walker, Nesta, Maldini, Roberto Carlos/Marcelo MID - Pirlo, Zidane, Xavi ATT - Ronaldinho, R9/Zlatan, Messi

Buffob best GK ever. Undisputed. Winning WC against France and Germany for example at the time. Getting to Euro final with a much wors squad than many og its competitors. Buffon is the first goalkeeper to have been in the convarsation for Ballon D’or. And he was in that convortation mulipal of times over a 15 year period. No other keeper could say that. Buffon was better than all the Casillas, Neuer, Checks etc. in different time periods. That speeks about his long longevity. And the most impressing part about all this, he played in a worse side than all the other goalkeepers you could mention. And he was still mention in the best in the World. That makes him the goat

I think there's a few other defenders who definitely could be included as well. Kante was obviously amazing but he's not on Busquets's level at all imo

Great video, guys. I know it's your opinion, but both Dani Alves and Modric not getting a mention is crazy. Dani Alves won everything there is to won on club level and plays a considerable part as to why Messi hit the heights that he did. And Modric is simply clear from Iniesta and is right up there with Xavi as maybe the best CM of all time.

That nice joke with Neymar... Giroud also has most goals for his county, that only one of dozens of arguments. In his prime Ronaldinho is easily the best attacking player of all time same as the original Ronaldo, based on pure skills and flare. Ronaldinho is the only player who should be on a team despite a short career on the top.
