I kinda liked the King Boo fight in this one. Although I was a little disappointed to see that he lacked a health bar this time. I actually found it funny that Luigi had to slam him into the ground to actually defeat him this time around. It kind of made it feel like that Luigi was getting tired of dealing with King Boo's tricks, much like how King Boo was also getting sick of dealing with him too. Other than that I also liked the fight against Wolfgeist and the "monster" fight from Morty's movie. I still feel bad for catching him even after his movie is complete. As for Clem: I didn't think about using Gooigi in that fight until after doing co-op when my sister was playing. ...Still hated that entire floor though. I also hated the Polterkitty segments if dealing with that cat counts as a boss or a mini boss.

@@Jack_OutsideTheBox I normally love cats more than I do dogs, but having to chase her across multiple rooms on one floor before disappearing to the next made me hate her. Didn't know what I was supposed to do at first so she kept running and hiding everywhere on the fire movie set.

The Polterkitty isn't a boss fight to me, because chasing it *six times* and going into a different floor to finish her off, it's obvious that her role in the game is to pad out the main story.

YES finally someone is giving Wolfgeist the praise he deserves. I loved his design, his snooty and short tempered personality, and his multi-phase fight that really fun and even somewhat challenging. It felt like I was finally getting to lay the smackdown on that piano form Mario 64.

I love how Steward makes a reference to the Lonesome Ghosts in that he grabs his hat from mid air before disappearing into the vacuum.

To me it HAS to be king boo.i feel like his moveset is the most diversed it has ever been!

It means "the biggest letdown", right? I truly love analyzing bosses, and although looking very cool and having a wide range of attacks, your openings are way too tight. He uses more or less 6 attacks before throwing in bombs. It must be getting frustrating by the time you get to the third phase. Aiming and remembering which ghost is the real one while it's about to rain lightning on you is infuriating. I was hoping for a better third phase but nope. Also, King Boo kinda ripped off the magician trio. Wolfgeist is just amazing and I wish the sports dude wasn't placed so low. I kinda like how he differs from the usual three-phasing.

when fighting Clem you could have had Gooigi on the platform to make things much more easier

I kinda liked Celm even tho its was hard to control i really enjoyed it And so as captain fishhook

I loved the hella gravly boss so much it felt so cool to do the floor segment and then the water and the last face when she recover the laser walls one by one it more than a mirror

You’re actually supposed to use Gooigi in the Clem boss fight. It makes it much easier.

And Gooigi can block the bomb in the magician triplets fight, halt the mouth in the ship fight, etc. There's a good use for it in almost every boss battle.

Yeah but that doesn't change the fact the raft controls are not ideal for this fight. You'll often get disorientated on which way's forward and clem's attacks are hard to dodge when your acceleration is so slow.

I actually really liked the Magician Triplets fight. I dunno, there’s just something bout keeping track of where they are with evading attacks which is really cool. The worst, imma go with Sepci. It felt very unclear and just frustrating to complete

I'm kind of surprised that Nintendo went all out with their creativity and ideas for the magician triplets. When the twisted suites rooms get all mixed up, the hat shuffle, the golden bunny rabbit, the fake door illusions and all the other stuff was a pretty creative idea to put in a room. (For a magician, of course.)

In the fight against DJ Phantasmagloria you had to look closely at the dancing ghosts and figure out which of them was dancing a bit differently than the rest because it may be awkward to dance while holding an elevator button. E. Gadd would have said that if Luigi had taken too long to find the right ghost.

Serpci (for the atmosphere of the battle and my favorite music in the game) and Hellen Gravely (most creative yet challenging fight) are the best for me. Honorable mention to Captain Fishhook, Morty, and Ug too, but they're not as top tier as the first two!

For Clem you were supposed to have Gooigi on the platform to get him, you can even spawn him on the platform when Luigi is in the water

I was actually thinking that one of my favorites was the composer before I even watched the video so it's nice to see you agree with me!

Who else really struggled at Mortys quest because they didn't explain how the puzzle really worked?

It was by far the best floor for me. They didn't have to explain anything. You just have to go around exploring and experimenting different things. When you realise that you could go in and out of the TV and that you could activate the switches from inside the rooms, that's when you know how the puzzle works.

My guess is King Boo! It was really intense and exciting to fight, and it’s my personal pick for best boss. I actually needed a few tries to beat it! Edit after watching video: Oh yeah I forgot about Ug, Wolfgiest and Fishook! Those are amazing! However I still think King Boo was really cool and deserved a higher spot on the list.

Tbh king boos boss was not that hard and I feel like the ending was kind of anticlimactic. My favorite boss is either captain fishhook or Godzilla P.S: I did not kill Morty

The Magician Triplets was my favorite boss.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who wasn't really a fan of the Hellen Gravely fight. Honestly, I would've put it even lower than you had it.

I found a secret in the serpi fight, its a refrence to the knucklotec boss from oddyssey. Knucklotec is in the sand kingdom and he shoots fists and is a head.

i actually like king boo, he tests everything you learned trought the game, he is the only ghost besides polterpup that dont display any health

Let's not ignore the fact that Luigi, with the aid of a modified vacuum cleaner and a toilet punger, has the strength to throw a grand piano around.

I enjoyed the Morty fight a lot!! The movie set, the Kaiju costume for the ghost, it was very fun, creative, and unique!

Dr potters bossfight is annoying but satisfying when you cut the stupid plant with the chainsaw

The dark moon fight was much more repetitive in my opinion then the third. I think this was the best king boo battle so far!

Amadeus Wolfgeist was normal to me, but it’s very hard as one of the earlier bosses in the game Johnny was extremely easy, same for DJ Fishook wasn’t hard, feels pretty normal to me Clem is normal to me but for a lot of people it’s very hard, same for Serpci. Nikki, Lindsey and Ginny are very hard for me, although that’s still debatable for many Otherwise, yeah, pretty much agree

Why didn’t you use gooigi during the Clem fight by leaving him on the surface and Luigi in the water

All of the ghosts are very difficult to figure out. The chef in my opinion is very difficult for me until it said what to do. For example to get to Godzilla you have to do many steps. A lot of bosses are difficult to get to.

Dr potter to me was also very confusing but I never thought it as boring and with Johnny deep end I thought well this is easy especially when the boss is lower then the regular minions (goops) but then I was so confused how to hit him, wolf Geist was also my hardest especially with the aiming

Their all good but I like morty, I liked Clem due to the music

Amadeus Wolfgeist in my opinion should have been Melody Pianissima from the first game. That would have been a really cool reference since E Gadd said that Hellen Gravely stole ALL of his portrait ghosts including King Boo and the rest of the first and second game's ghosts

Yeah he was annoying, but it didn’t took me too long, the mechanics are what made it hard, but it was pretty easy once you figure out. Also, at least you can somewhat cheese it by using Gooigi so you don’t have to climb the stairs and run over to the other side before he gets back to the water I understand why people hate him tho as he’s definitely annoying, but Nikki, Lindsey and Ginny were even worse in my opinion

12:15 This boss actually scared me when I was watching a video and after the guy beat his back up ghosts

In my opinion Nikki, Lindsay, and Ginny are number 1. The tricks they do are too ridiculous!

I also agree with you about Helen Gravely. She was from the fight fun though, but she is really annoying. And you're right it's not really that good.

My favorites so far are ug, the tricky triplets, hellen gravely, king boo and Morty

I had a much easier time with Clem by keeping Gooigi outside of the water to vacuum him up when his duck popped. It saved a lot of time and Clem never tries to splash Gooigi

I found that the hardest part about fighting the clem boss was that the controls of the duck were really messed up. I just couldn't turn all the way around!

My difficulty tier: F: 18. Kruller (Luigi cannot die) 17. Chambrea (At least can do little attack for Luigi) 16. Steward (He is easy but his suitcases can cause large lost of HP (-40 HP)) D: 15. Potterkitty (easy but annoying) C: 14. Johnny Deepend (easy due to 60 HP but need to do something) 13. Morty & Gozilia (the fun can let Luigi to forget the difficulties, and Morty isn't really boss) B: 12. Chef Souffle (Can do some harm for Luigi) 11. Dr Potter (Not hard, jut annoying) 10. Clem (Difficult to figure out as well as do some controls) 6. DJ ghost (Very high HP (450 HP) and Luigi may impress the music and the dancers easily so he may be confused for figuring out) 5. Ug (The fight which use the most rounds (6 rounds) to fight him and his HP is high (400 HP)) S: 4. Amadeus Wolfgeist (Luigi use the most complicated steps to fight him in each rounds and his HP is very high (450 HP)) 3. Captain Fishook (The most deathliest boss ghost) 2. Hellen Gravely (The highest HP (600 HP), difficulty for figuring out, frequent lasers, one of the most rounds as well as water attacks make this fights utmost challenging) SS: 1. King Boo (If he is not hard, he will not be called 'Final Boss'. He use the skills of all ghosts and do very frequent attacks. Also, when the fight goes to the third round, three King Boos appear and Luigi only have 4 mins to fight him)

I just got this game today and holy frick this is awesome

Morty, the Skeleton T-Rex and Amadeus were my favorites, haven't fight against King Boo yet, and Boolosus is cool. Honorable mention to the Shark, Cop, the Knight and Hellen.

I like how Luigi moves his head when he sees Hellen Gravely put her finger up.

King boo is basically like dark moon's battle but slightly less interesting, Fish hook reminds me of the ice monster battle but this time it isn't a mini game and uses actual game mechanics, and the piano is an improved version of the possed staircase.

Now we need a which floor is the best because I am going with the 80’s disco floor(I just realized he already made one whoops). Also with the magician triplets I just recorded the hats then looked at the footage tracking the correct hat.

Morty doesn’t need to be caught. He wanted help witth his movie, and in exchange, he gives the elevator button as a reward.

I’d probably say my top three are DJ Phantasmagloria, Polterkitty and Helen Gravely And while most people hate Clem, he’s one of my favourites, just not at the top
