Nardwaur is a famous interviewer known for his extensive research and surprising artists with gifts that have some kind of sentimental value to them. He has interviewed legends and has been active since the early 90's.

I think the scariest piece of info nardwuar has dug up on somehow has to be when he found out one of Slipknots members (At the time) secret identity, even the most hardcore fans only knew him by a number and Nardwuar brought up the old tribute band he used to play in "Naughty by nature" and he freaked out the band member so bad he just straight up left without saying anything else. That is some insane information gathering skill
The full interviews are way more entertaining, especially before he became more well-known. He really was out there blowing minds.

Love Snoops reaction when he gave him the Redd Foxx doll.
Nardwaur interviews are unreal, and a lot of musicians say it's the best interview they've ever had, because he always comes deeply prepared with questions about things he has learned about. You get to see their polished personas melt away and learn something real as they react to his questions. It would be fascinating to see him interview Eminem, Jay-Z, and a few others who tend to be very controlled in their responses to most interview questions. Nardwaur also has his own band, and there's footage of performances. Dig deeper and you'll find a lot more on KZread.

He did Jay Z way back in the day, but it was quite rushed after the pharrell interview so wasn’t his best one, didn’t have as much research time
Probably my favorite interview is Whitney Cummings ... she knew nothing about him and she hates interviews, so when the interview started you can see her impatience and lack of interest, but as her friends walk in and fanboy over Nardwuar, and the interview begins, you can see her face and attitude change and by the end she's 100% and is completely in love with the idea of him and his interviews.
Yes! So glad you're watching this. He's awesome. I've been bugging Sean from HOT ONES to get nardwuar on the show.

This, get him to react to his interviews, this is a reaction goldmine and you learn so much about music!
You don't know Nardwuar? This is going to be great.
the extended one with Pharrell is a great one to watch. J. Cole too
If you’re Canadian 90’s kid you grew up with Nard. Much Music (mtv’s sister station up here) was the shit in the 90’s early 00’s with nardwar’s segments, Ed the Sock etc.
Simply put: Nardwaur is a legend. Stevie bout to go on Nardwaur dive! DO IT! He’s incredible
Love me some Nardwuar, he's such an off the wall interviewer and a breath of fresh air for a lot of these artist who answer the same thing almost every interview.
Haha I did this one last year, Narduwar is one of my heroes. One of the finest hip-hop journalists and content creators from Canada. The artists' reactions say a lot about distrust of the media.

He's just a journalist. not a hip hop journalist. he doesn't stick to any genre.
Thanks for the great content of course Stevie but also THANK YOU to whomever suggested The Nard! 🙌
Nardwuar said at a TED Talk that (para-phrasing) “you just have to try ask family members or managers to get old info. for the artist you’re about to interview” So, it’s nothing super genius he does for his research.
I love your massive grin watching this, Nardwaur is just one of the most wholesome people on the planet.
I took a break off him (for no reason he’s amazing ) and been watching him all morning after a long break Now this It’s like the universe doing Nar’sjob in reverse Shout out to you and him homie
This was fun!! We get to see everyone on the same level. Pretty cool stuff
You gotta check out more of his interviews!!! WuTang was a great one to start with!
his third interview with Questlove left him speechless. Nard is one of the most wholesome interviewers and also super positive and gives gifts to everyone he interviews that are personable to them. His wu tang interview was dope too.
The goat of interviewing and there’s no debate. No one will ever beat his work
Nardwaur could literally find your 3rd grade childhood best friend who went missing and was still missing pull them out and say “What’s the significance of x name. And also y toy. I heard it was the gift a childhood friend gave you before going missing who happens to be right here”. Then they’d bug out say how you know about that then say “well you’re z person we have to know.” Man is wild watch his full interviews. Well worth it.
Great reaction. So cool watching people discover this guy. He's a legendary researcher, interviewer, and music fan as others have pointed out. Top tier. Fun dude. Glad you came across him.
Please do more of these! Crazy reactions to Nuardwar is a whole series it’s great!!!
He was on much music a lot in the 90s- early 2000s. Loved watching him growing up in Canada.
Nardwaur is a legend. Happy you found him!
NARDWUAR! The legendary Canadian interviewer!
He has a TEDTalk where he talks about how he struggled getting into interviewing, so he managed to sneak an opportunity and had to make the most of it, so he did some off-the-wall research and started doing all this.
How can someone who reacts to music not know Nardwaur ...he's a legend in the game.

A Canadian icon and byfar the scariest interviewer this dude can find dirt on your dirt XD
He’s funny as hell I forgot about him. Glad you found him.
Stevie loved this video. Awesome stuff. Shout out to those in this video we lost!
That was fire and the reactions are the best,,hope to see more of this
He's been doing this for decades in Canada. Go pull up to his channel and start rifling through his interviews looking for a name you care about. Watch as the the interviewee side-eyes him looking annoyed and bored by the schtick. Then watch his guard drop as he has his mind blown for ten minutes. Then watch him leave with hugs and handshakes, as a fan of Nardwuar. Same way you'll leave. But without the hugs :(
I grew up with him when he was part of Much Music. A staple uncle for Canadians. :) The persona you see is ALL HIM and he geeks out on music. And it makes it wholesome.
You got to do more of these. I love watching him catch these celebrities off-guard 😂
I just found his videos the other day. This is crazy that you reacted to him.
Nardwuar has been around for years! Canadian interviewer, he does some good interviews! You should check out some Canadian rappers. From Nova Scotia Miracle, his bro Al Boogie, Quake! They are friends of Pat Stay! There is lots more too!
I just got hipped to him over a yr ago. His interviews, research wise, are very entertaining
He does interviews on a lot of the Punk Rock and Metal bands I grew up listening to as well I didnt even know he did rap interviews until now lol Wow that adds a whole new level to his knowledge of music! Dudes a magician at this shit lol That was freaking awesome mesh up off all his interviews with rappers I wanna look up to see if he has one like this for rock interviews as well Dope AF
You should do some full interviews. The long version of the Quest Love interview is great.
I always find it funny that many of these artists were angry cause he would give them gifts, but then after the interview he would ask for them back. Him and Snoop are best friends because he always refused to give the gifts back or steal something else as collateral, lmao
So glad you’re finally checking him out
How can you be a fan of hip hop but not know who nardwuar is Stevie knight he's a legend lol.

Love Nardwuar. More of Nardwuars full videos would definitely be cool to see you react to. Especially the ones like Kendrick & any of Snoops, or just artists you already sort of know.
I use to watch them all when they use to be on Much Music, back when Much was a music channel
This guy has been around since the 80s. You had to hear his radio show back then on some obscure college station, but dude was nuts with it back then. This stuff he is doing now, most of it can be found on the net..... but this cat was doing this before the internet was a thing. He did this before social media existed.
You should do more of his reactions bro! He's from my city in Vancouver BC haven't run in to him yet though
Nardwaur is so entertaining he always throws artist off and it's hilarious! Their interaction is awesome! Thanks for sharing your reaction to these vids!
Nardward the legend! He does his homework for every interview. I love his channel
I LOVE THIS. 🤣 I was crying watching this video.
@7:33 Every time I hear lil yachty laugh in an interview I love it. He has the most contagious laugh fr. Lil yachty is one of the many legends in rap rn
My guess is that he hires a private eye to talk to the fam, and just to ask something that no one should know to ask in the interview. hes genius

So could all the others do as well. He‘s got some real deep connections in the industry is my guess
Nardwuar is the GOAT when it comes to interviews, there were a few bands and artist that were real Aholes to Nardwuar
Bro u gotta see the one with J. Cole
Hahahaha Stevie's eyes going up and down there on that Megan Thee Stallion part. Stay focus Brother!!
Nardwuar has actually been around since the 80s doing interviews, He's a host on a radio show in BC and has his own band the Evaporators. He's interviewed tons of big names. He's interviewed Snoop a bunch of times and his interviews with Quest Love are always great too. Way back in the 90s he even interviewed Kurt Cobain
Shout out to Canada! He started on Much Music which was the Canadian version of MTV
You got one of the most genuine laughs bro 😂😂
Luv laughing all day in this
I'm so excited you found Nardwar!!
watch Stevie's Eyes when meg pop up 🤣🤣
That was crazy good!!
Nardwuar from Vancouver, knows everything....he interviews mostly rappers and he gives these guys gifts that actually they all appreciate , because its their digging deep past !!!!...He's been doing this for over 20 years easy !!!!...his endings to all his interviews are CLASSIC !!!....DO DO DA DOO DOO !!!!!!!!!!!! DOOT DOOT
the coolest dude ever
Luv this guy knowing depth
The "we have to know" IYKYK The industry knows more about their ppl than they know about themselves.
He worked on Much music in Toronto. He was amazing. He raught me soooo much as a kid. I was the biggest fan of him. He knows his shit
Narduar is a Vancouver legend. Everyone here has a Narduar story. This guys interviews are legendary. Hes been doing this for at least 30 years. Met him a couple times at Vancouver record stores. Real nice cat.
Miss Cleo did this shit differently. You had to “CALL NOW for YOUR free reading.”😂😂😂 This dude pulling files.
Been watching Nardwaur up here in Canada since the 90's. Always fun to watch his interviews.
I've been waiting for so long for this reaction. Nardwaur is goated
Next Week On Nardwuar Interviews Stevie Knight!!
Keep on rockin in the free world
Nardwuar is someone who needs to be on Drink Champs
If you ever have the time you should check out some of his interviews with Questlove of The Roots. They always talk about hip hop history and they're always a great listen.
He's a massive fan of rap and sub genres of rap. He used to be on Much Music in Toronto Ontario when it was a big deal. He's been doing this for a lot of years.
You should check out his TED Talk! He explains where he came from and how he got to where he is. Great watch 😊
I would like to see you go down the rabbit hole of Nardwuar content, he has interviewed some legends in the music industry 🙏 keep up the grind bro 👍🏼
Dude Nardwar sheesh, you should def react to more of him interviewing ppl.
Gotta watch all of Nardwuar vs The Roots 🔥🔥
The goat interviewer ❤
I love the history of it all, so i got hooked on nardwuar, hes a legend man, has interviewed some of the best
I think one of the tricks is to reach out to the parents of these artists
You should react to nardwuar vs waka flaka full interview, best one in my opinion.
Nardwuar worked for much music in Canada for decades ; Corus entertainment and ctv have an insane vault which he has access too of music and media from going back to the 70s/80s
I absolutely love Nardwuar interviews. It truly shows the extensive research he does and it honestly sets him levels above all other interviewers. Knowledge is power.
He's good. God bless him for his hard work. Some people take their job seriously and with passion.
Love seeing this!!😂🙏💯🔥
Nardwuar is a god amongst men. Gotta react to some of his full interviews, his pharrell interview will always be legendary
The J cole one was the best
The nirvana one is great, the j Cole one is awesome, he did one with Mac Miller too if I'm not mistaken.
Nardwuar is Canadian and started his interview segments on MUCH MUSIC in TO. I cant remember if he won a contest to be a host or interviewer because they did that a lot. However I always appreciated his segments. Get ahold of those older clips from MUCH its even better.
Pharrell got him back in a similar fashion in a similar manner. One terrible boy group had attacked and humiliated him on camera. The video is still up.
Yoooo. My neighbor used to own rap snacks back in the day. He use to have a box truck with these characters rapping painted on it. Wow I didn't know people knew about rap snacks.
I've seen videos of people bullying him, and it fills me with rage
