Hua Chenyu is amazing. He is a composer, singer, rapper, multiinstumentalist. His Mars concerts are breathtaking. I was at 2 of them at the end of may. I flew from Germany to China to experience it live. It was so amazing. Please check more out from him. He will surprise you a lot of times. Qi Tian, New World, Aliens, Here we are, Bullfighting, Jackdaw Boy, 7 Personalities, Madhouse, Growing towards the sun.... and so much more. ❤

Tiny sliver of Hua Hua's abilities. For me, who was a fan of Queen (and Freddie Mercury) from BEFORE they were famous, Hua Hua is the best PERFORMER on the Planet. He grew up listening to Muse, Radiohead, Linkin Park. He does Rock/Metal, Rap, Reggae, Pop, SynthPop, Electronic, Broadway, Traditional Chinese.... Genuinely he is so prolific as a Composer, Music arranger that there are hundreds of videos. Maybe you would like his Rock style.. "Aliens", "Flying Conductor" or "Jackdaw Boy". Or his Reggae song "Madhouse" or his Traditional Chinese.. "Flower in a small town", or Synth Pop "Flight Mode". I would recommend a fan cam version of his recent Concert when he sang "God Tree". It's a competition for famous singers. Jessie J won and Hua Hua came second. Glad you notice backing vocals, Musicians etc. It is always that well produced.

Glad you found Hua Chenyu, HuaHua for his fans, he's my Nr1 favorite artist, he's a very unique composer and all around performer. This Nunchucs performance is originally a straight rap song that he rearranged for the show. This show, Singer, is a frendly competition between famous professional artists, the 500 audience in the venue vote their favorite performance, at the end of the 12 episodes, the artists votes are summed up and design the winner. In this 2018 edition, singers could only two of their own songs during the whole competion, the rest of performances has to be rearranged covers. I hope you will check more of Hua Chenyu, specially his concert videos usually don't get blocked, the brand name of Hua's Cooncert is Mars Concert, and they are really from out there. He is so versatile, this is just one side of him, a singer, composer, performer …you dont get him from just one video.. but this one caught my interest 5 years years ago, and I am still exploring👍Singer 2018 was a competition, but for established singers, a really good Chinese show. I am so happy you reacted to Hua Hua he is an amazing performer. You never know what he is going to do. It was for a competition show called the singer. It is not like the ones in the US this is against only professional singers. Dimash was on this show just a year earlier in 2017. This was in 2018, he also was on in 2020.

After BTS, Hua Hua is my favorite musician right now (and has been for a while). I'm so happy you're discovering him! He is a very powerful performer and masterful composer. Pretty much anything you check out by him will be wonderful 💜

I love your reaction! I know what you mean about capturing the soul in a performance, I saw Kings of Leon live and I felt like I was listening to the CD, which left me disappointed. Hua Chenyu really is a unique singer. He goes for feeling over the purity of sound, his concert footage is amazing, this is from a show where pro singers are pitted against each other, it's a really interesting show with a lot of great performances. I'd really recommend listening to Jackdaw Boy, Here We Are, Madhouse and 7 Personalities, along with some of his more recent songs like Illusion and Reality, his re-working of cover songs is brilliant but for me his own compositions are captivating! Thank you again 🌺🌺

Hua Chenyu is really something else. You should really listen/watch/react to more of his performance. I don't think anyone could put all those different genres (western opera, rock, rap, pop, Chinese opera, classical music and ended with a Kungfu kick) all in one song. If you watch to his Fake Monk performance you will be shocked.

Z pewnością większości informacji o Hua Chenyu i programie The Singer już otrzymaliście w komentarzach to to pominę. Osobiście mnie wciągnęła Jego charyzma. Lubię Jego kreatywność, pasje i energie. Mnie najbardziej otworzyła oczy na Jego twórczość przesłuchanie w preselekcji do Super Boy 2013. Spodobała mi się wasza wypowiedź na temat kompozycji chaotycznej. Co prawda to nie kompozycja Hua Chenyu, ale za to Jego rearanżacja. Oryginał Jay Chou nie uważam za zły, ale "zabawa" muzyką Hua Chenyu jest genialna i jak Wy to mówicie chaos w pozytywnym sensie. 💛

The thing with eastern musicians is that they are so versatile and they are musically trained for so long that the results are incredible.
