Most underrated rpg of all time

Lilika's beast call not only helps with rare drops but rare monsters in general. I've spent hours searching for the last encounter to finish off the bounty list and anything to make that nonsense faster is fantastic.

Party synergy is really important near the end of the game. It pushes characters like Kisala up the list while pushing someone like Jupis who is a master of crowd control on his own down the list. Thanks for the video!

My least favorite thing about thos game was the barrier. Having to switch to one specific gun to break the barrier was the dumbest shit ever.

I remember this game fondly. I also liked both Dark Cloud games so stands to reason. Dragon Quest 8 wasn't a bad game either, though not the best of the series. Ni No Kuni... Level 5 are a good company! Ahh, PS2, the best era of JRPG's possibly. All the groundwork from the SNES and PSX coming to fruitiion.

Dq8 is hailed as one of the best in the series lol. It was basically the Mario 64 of dragon quest.

My final party is usually Jasper, Lilika and either Zegram or Steve for third (Steve's just there because I like controlling him, I wouldn't use him as an ai party member) Overall great tier list, can't say I disagree.

This game really does push you into using the best party. i only use steve and simon for doing aoe's and naturally gravitated to zegram and kisala.

IMO Jaster's Illusion Sword is everything you need to beat that game, with the exception of the Final Boss. I honnestly didn't found the battle mechanics in this game engaging at all, it's really simple spam your cinematic skills to destroy most of the mobs fights, and for boss just buff with anyone that has an attack buff, use Jaster's Illusion Sword proceed to massacre the boss, you don't have any dodge movement here so it's guaranteed you'll take damage, if that happen just pause the game and use your items.... such a complex game -_-

Still need haven't beaten the game yet but watching this kind of makes me wish for a rogue galaxy 2, but i won't hold my breath, that's about as likely as a 3rd dark cloud game

Could you make a tierlist for Suikoden 1 and 3 because from the other parts you did a great tier list i will use. That is one i missing. That would be great. Greats Patrick Wolf

Yeah besides Dragon Quest VIII and IX I also have difficult feelings towards Level 5. I want to love their games. Growing up poor meant I got systems later and the cheapest system available so my expectations for jrpgs is extremely different than most other people's. Going from the PS1 to the GameCube to the Game Boy Advance to the DS to the 3DS really gave me a different perspective than a lot of people. There are some things and PS2 jrpgs that I cannot stand that a lot of people love.

I really need to go back and replay this game. Maybe this time i'll be able to recruit this Diego character since he avoided me all other times.

I remember buying this game on a whim. Surprised that it was pretty good.

So, do you think you could do a Resident Evil 4 weapons tier list?

Like the bug battle contest mini game,..

I disagree with simon. the different weapons makes him versatile, and the one that are actually log-range gun rather than flamethrowers allow to keep max dps from absolutelly safe distances. doesn't boost him much higher, but a bit more

I like this game. i enjoy battle system but i don't like too large map design and freaking earth moon sun key which if you miss you will miss almost all good item. I miss earth key and notice it when i complete game on first run lol.

Could you do star ocean 2nd story?

I feel like you should have done another take when you pronounce a name wrong. Diego, Lilita lol.

About right on the tier list though I personally preferred Lilika over Kisala. It could be argued that Jupis is mid tier.

the factory is easy you basically just count.

Joke's on you I actively mained Steve for the vast majority of my second playthrough Rogue Galaxy and he performs perfectly fine, especially with Lilika and Jaster (by default). Granted I also ignore like most of the final dungeons encounters because the game is frankly kind of dogshit and I run out of patience with the myriad of problems the game has by that point.
