I'm thankful as well. I'll be 68 in about a month, an I've survived a car accident where I hit the windshield, several falls, where I cracked my head on pavement and the bathtub, 2 C-sections, gall bladder surgery, and breast cancer. Others, much younger than I am are already deceased for various reasons.

It was the winter of 1987, and I was picking up my cousin for Church, and, as usual, she was running late. As I waited, I pushed the radio buttons. Suddenly, this beautiful sax music came over the speakers. I was frozen in place. In all of my 17 years on earth, I had never heard anything like it. It was David Sanborn's Sunday Morning Jazz show, and I was hooked. I fell in love with Jazz because of David. Between him and Casey Kasem, I don't think I went to church for three years. But I think God understands. After all, I passed that love of Jazz on to my children, so something good came out of it. May Favid rest in eternal peace.

James Gregory was been going down hill for awhile. While I am not too surprised, he will still be so missed. Saw him live way back in the early 90s at a local comedy club and he was SO funny. RIP Jim

So many fulfilled lives ended, but they will be remembered. Be it from their family and friends,or their fans and co workers. They all had a special talent. This channel forgets nobody and is always respectful and informative ,unlike what the mainstream news often have become. You give us a face to some names we heard, but never actually knew their image. Having lost my closest friend for 33 years ,and probably the love of my life, a month ago,it always touches me to hear from people I knew ,sometimes for decades ,and in one way or another touched my life. Death is part of life, but sometimes,we just don’t want them leave us .

I so enjoy watching Legacy. The respectful manner in which you share with us the passing of so many is a blessing. I am saddened that far too many are passing from heart related complication; a significant number still young enough whose lives were taken far too soon. My prayers and condolences to their family, loved ones and friends.
