Its really easy to look "smart" if you're the only one talking. The man is either a absolute m0r0n or blatantly dishonest and bought by big oil. Probably both. You muppets read the first page of a book 20 years out of date and and Sea levels: Yeah be can't prevent something back when we didn't cause it, nor was it a problem at that rate. That doesn't mean we can't prevent something we are causing and that its not a problem at the current rate. Cost: There is no point whining about the cost which its a minute fraction of the actual economy over that period and still far less that what climate change is and will continue to cost us. Wiley: these weren't climate change papers. Ice core samples: Ground/Ice CO2 concentration lags because it only start building up AFTER atmospheric CO2 has increased. I mean this whole debate is about how long it takes for CO2 to leave the atmosphere and then think noting this took long in the past is some kind of ground breaking insight? As for the welfare argument this is just cherrypicking ignoring all the negatives and the limits of that growth. If this is the level of Forbes reporting its little wonder people will still pay $300 for the FT.

In the San Francisco Bay area, there are mud flats, and they have been the same for over one hundred years. You can see this with photos of the versus now, and ask anyone who lives there. Yet, we're supposed to believe some people who say we are going to see metres of change over 50 years. We even have countries building runways at sea level, but don't seem worried. Plus, we already build sea walls for surges and minor storms, and if we want to reclaim land from the sea, like, oh I dunno, the Netherlands with centuries old technologies. 😅 The whole thing is a major scam, but a profitable one. We could have spent all that money building sea walls around whole nations, if we really wanted to, if it were that urgent... but instead, it's spent on 'research', wind turbines, solar panels, and electric vehicles... not things people would actually benefit from.
