    @@iamyou8994 I respectively disagree with you. Sanatanism was the faith of the Indo-Aryan people group which was in it's origin Monotheistic. Later this Indian regional faith became Polytheistic overtime. Then Zartosht or Zoroaster appears where is understands that the Aryan faith system is being ruined by the Indo-Aryan stock as a result the Devas in Sanatanism became Evil gods in Zartosht's ideology & Ahura/Asuras became Evil gods in Sanatanism ideology. Still we see Zoroastrianism projects Dualistic of deputized polytheistic tendency as stated by Nora Elizabeth Mary Boyce, the renowned British intellectual of Zoroastrianism. Hence Abraham from the Semitic stock enters the battle field. Remember fair skinned Aryans are Japhetic people so Allah/Ellai/Elohim rightfully said that the Sons of Japhetics will be in forefront of civilization & ideological advancements of Human race still they will be devoid of the original spirit of their Creator. Thus the seeds of Abraham a.k.a Isaac & Ishmael progenitions are given the duty firmly establish Allah's original way on earth among humans. 12,000 year old Sanatanism and 3,400 year old Zoroastrianism does not de-legitimize or question marks Abrahamic faith systems, but it actually adds more feathers of truth & blessings to the fact that Allah did actually sent messengers among all racial people of the earth; but for some reason they dislodged themselves from the true path thus needing the Semitic stock to bring them back.

    Hello!,I absolutely love to see that our religion is known to others despite our low numbers and I really thank you for making this awesome video. As an Ezidi/Yazidi I would like to put some points to make things less confusing: 1-Ezidism is called Ezidism not Yazidism the word Yazidi came after what the Arabs called us and Ezid means God Ezidi means worshipper of God. 2-Ezidism was not called Ezidism nor Yazidism it was called Dasni,and the Arabic caliphate has described kurds living in north Mesopotamia resisting them by the name Dasni,which later changed their name officially to Ezidi that can be seen in the rebellion done by Jafar Dasni and the الداسنية as described by Arabs meaning they already had a king and a system working,this debunks the idea of Ezidism being made by Adi Ibn Musafir and or Yazid Ibn Muawia. 3-While marriage is not allowed between castes it is believed some are from Godly blood which is similar to those ancient Mesopotamian believes 4-And finally the writing was not forbidden,it was in fact forced on the royal class and was optional to the rest due to high persecution and the kurdish language of the Ezidis it lead to them being isolated. Thanks and I hope you get a bigger channel in the future❤❤

In my opinion I think the Yazidi faith is a combination of Abrah amic religions Babylonian religions and Indo/Iran religions ( Hinduism and Zoroastrianism). The Torah (the first five books of the Old Testament) was written after the Jews returned from the Babylonian captivity (6th century BC). There is no angel named in these five books. The first time an angel is named in the Old Testament is Daniel 8:16 - 'Gabriel' - which is an alternative spelling of Çibrayil. The book of Daniel may have been written around the fourth century BC. I would be very interested in knowing the etymology of each of the names of the seven angels of Yazidi faith.

    Very informative, thanks! one question is why did Muslims and Christian consider them devil worshippers if there is an idea within some sufi circles that Satan was one of the pure monotheist, that he loved God so much that he refuses to bow down in front of anyone?

  • @LetsTalkReligion

    @LetsTalkReligion

    I wanted to add this point to the video. The Yazidi view of Melek Taus as a hero for refusing to bow to Adam is as you say a rather common view among some Sufis regarding Iblis. It makes sense if you consider the idea that Yazidism (at least post-middle ages) stems from a Sufi order, so the idea probably comes directly from there. I chose to leave this out of the video as it could be interpreted to confirm the idea that Melek Taus is equivalent to the devil, and as it is a very complicated and nuanced subject I didn't want to cause any more confusion. To answer your question, this idea among the Sufis was also highly criticized by some other Muslims (and I assume Christians too). In the case of the Yazidis I think it's been used more as a justification for social and political anxieties to highlight their "otherness", which made it more controversial than when Sufis claimed basically the same thing. I think another difference could be that Melek Taus is a point of reverence much more than Iblis is in Sufi circles, even if they hold this view. So whereas those Sufis are seen as "Muslims who have a wacky idea about Iblis" the Yazidis give him a much more important role as a point of semi-worship, which would be more controversial.

    I am not religious, but I respect the way that you share your knowledge of various religionists. I have a Druze friend, but Druze evidently do not discuss their faith and beliefs, so your "lesson" is much appreciated. It pains my heart to hear of religious prosecution by one religion or sect by another religion or sect. God must weep at such things, hence my disdain for organized religion.
