BONUS COMMENT LORE: There is a Battle Mage on a nearby precipice, and he gazes at the women as they dance in the village. In a nearby village, celebrants have been murdered, and other mages stand over them. Is there a rivalry going on here? @Quelaag will make a video soon going into more detail :)

The Godskin Apostles are literally the only good boss fights in Elden Ring imo. They're the only bosses that have the right mixture of being hard but not cheap. Considering how broken all the "hard" bosses are, like Melania and her model that hides whats shes doing, the Godskin Apostle is so refreshing a very slim taste of what Elden Ring had the potential to be.

THE EFFIGIES IN THE VILLAGE IS SHAPED LIKE DESTINED DEATH
I'm definitely celebrating, thanks.
I love that you focused on this place cause i love this place. It was such a cool place full of soooo much lore. Things id like to point out - there are no men in this village - the ghosts in the town are all male - and the godskin is at the top - you can summon milicent for the fight My working theory is that the men of this village as seen from one message were all nobles and maybe this village was more important. Especially being so close to the capitol it would make sense that is where their major farm land were, and the all the men were the nobles that owned the windmills but then a heretical group came skinning those same nobles killing the men and leaving the women free of their reign, youll even notice that they all have blood around their mouth implying they ate their own husbands you can even see one in the back still eating one of these men maybe her own husband and unlike most of the women in this village this one will attack you if she notices you seeing her eat her husband, The other two that will attack you unlike the other women are the ones right before the godskin who are praying to what seems some type of crucifix, maybe they were blessing the skin before the godskin apostle, the weapon you even get from beating this apostle at the top of the hill As to why milicent is there it might be like norse mythology where a lot of things that are just abstract ideas are actual entities, we even see this in the game the godskin represent death and if these were the farm fields they might symbolize harvest and abundance, so the path of how this happened is it was a town of abundance with wealth and nobility and then death creeped into the village killing the farms and the nobles in them and then after death rot comes in. Just my personal working theory, I litterally love this village so much I whenever i just want a place to chill go here even before the jar village. Its so peaceful yet not at the same time, so happy feeling yet feels evil, it truly is one of my favorite places for just how much lore is packed in here. I dead ass just will walk around this village for hours sometimes

im 100% down for more lore shorts
This place was so cursed. First you had all these nutcases which made me very cautious. After letting my guard down because they weren't hostile, I made my way through just to be randomly attacked, I pooped a bit. Also, wasn't there a godskin apostle at the top too or am I confusing that with somewhere else? Edit. This is why you shouldn't comment before watching videos 😂
When first arriving there I thought "is this at least a friendly place ?" It is NOT 😂
ngl they getting sturdy 😮💨
Love your lore videos. They really help me feel immersed in the game.
