I have always thought that one of the reasons that BTS became so big is because of their genuine personalities that people could sense and love them for it. It’s not just their music, but we love them for who they are.

'Came for the music, stayed for the guys' is the sum of my BTS journey. Their music remains the best out there, imho, but the team itself is what makes it so. It's a little weird, isn't it, how we like groups better if the people within the group are close friends?

Their relationship with each was what did it for me. Although they are all really different but for some reason, they make the perfect group and complement each other.

Jimin is very close to all members but no other member is close to all members unlike him. But they are certainty extremely close knit like a family. They trust each other completely because they have shared history for more than a decade. Their living memories are the same too in those years. Like one unit. Only now after living independently and in the military, they have independent memories. Even new Army reactors seem to notice that about Jimin. Jimin supported solo projects of all members. Suga mentioned in Suchweta that despite being busy Jimin visited Jin and Hobi in military base. Plus Hobi in Lollapalooza, Suga in his NY concert, Jungkook in NYC and Taehyung in local show. He even took Jin's fave soup to military base. He made sure to be at RM's album launch. RM asks advice from Hobi and Jimin. Suga does whatever Jimin asks as he is the Suga handler. Jimin is the only one who cared and took note when Suga said he was undergoing shoulder operation. In the early days Jimin went to hospital when Suga had appendicitis (i think) operation too. Hobi said without Jimin he would not have managed in rookie days and during pandemic too. Taehyung calls Jimin his favourite and relied on him emotionally. Jungkook brightens up especially whenever Jimin comments on his live and only greeted Jimin publicly on his birthday for many years. Jin and Jimin are very tight. They think alike even. RM said Hobi and Jimin are number 1 to each other. Let's say Jimin is the emotional glue to BTS and they said even while a rookie he was the member they went to if they needed to talk. Or were stressed. Jimin said in the first In the Soop that walls were being built over the pandemic. He made sure Jungkook and Taehyung had a heart to heart chat during an episode in the first In the Soop. Jimin took time to reassure RM during Bon Voyage New Zealand since he saw RM was stressed about the BTS tour soon after that trip. Jimin took care emotionally and with snacks :) his little bros and his hyungs. His friends whether celebrity or not talk about his legendary kindness and consideration. I have seen and heard more about Jimin as a kid/ schooler than any other members and its always glowing in their praise of him. They say he hasn't changed at all. As a kid his cousin said he gave his pocket money to an elderly poor man so he could buy warm soup. He even gave him a kiss on his cheeks. Even now in military we hear about Jimin being kind (Jin and Hobi kindness is also well known in military). I don't know about all these member shipping things but as I see it Jimin ships with all members very closely as a brother, friend, confidante and bandmate. Jimin brought in birthday gift giving culture to BTS according to RM who said as men they didn't think of it. And he brought in lots of easy rapport, empathy and loving demonstration to members when they were in need. BTS sorely needed Jimin, who has a very high EQ (even communication analyst observed), for harmony and immense empathy. Leave alone legendary hard work Big Hit team still talks about. Bang Sihyuk nearly didn't pick Jimin and he admitted it and wondered what would have happened if he didn't listen to T&D team. Like RM said thanking T&D team recently that without their pressure to pick Jimin BTS would have been a disaster. Finally RM said it takes a whole day to talk about this friend Jimin who is naturally altruistic and puts everyone before him even when he doesn't need to. RM also said Jimin is like the grandfather of BTS. When Jimin confronted RM directly, when others were cribbing behind his back, about his rookie day style of leadership RM was grateful for his honesty (since he was very young himself and was learning) and said that they were alike in being brutally honest. That's it. JIMIN IS AN EMOTIONAL STRENGTH AMD GLUE IN BTS AND BRINGS IN LOTS OF EMPATHY AND HARMONY. JIMIN IS AN ICON AND LIVING LEGEND, ONE OF A KIND, WHO WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY ALONG WITH BTS. I couldn't have said it better myself. You hit on every example that I thought of regarding the many times we have seen Jimin show tremendous support, understanding and empathy towards his members. The guys all contribute in their own way, but Jimin is the most open and vocal with his affection. He is very much a nurturing soul.

I totally agree with you! This is what others don't realize.. BTS is family and just like normal family relationship, there's always someone who's closest to every member..just like Jimin!

Just delightful. What I noticed early on in my fandom was how much they respect each other and delight in each other’s artistry, like, “wow, I am so lucky to work with you “

Jin telling ARMY about the talk of disbandment just caused us to trust them more. That is why when they told us not to worry about Chapter 2, we believed them.

All BTS members are close to each other. However either you step back & take a look at their relationships over the years in broaden perspective or recall those bits of informations of what is going on in their private lives over the years which they have accidentally spilled, Jimin is the one that they all have constantly mentioned in their life & seems that each of them spent their private times a lot with Jimin probably the most, even the most introvert member who doesn’t mingle mentioned Jimin in his life as well. Also in interviews & their Vlive, RM, Jin & Jhope has commented quite a few times that Jimin is the one probably who is most close to all the members! Furthermore, we have noticed that when something major events happens to any of BTS members or when they are not in good state physically or emotionally, Jimin is always there by their side to show his support, concern & love so heartwarmingly & he even flew 17 hours of flight all the way to US multiple times to show his support to each members & Jimin seems very glad to be there for his beloved members. For example, like when Jimin came to Suga’s appendix surgery, shoulder surgery & his solo concerts(attended 3 times & once came all the way to US) & many nights both of them drinking & talking together which was mentioned by Suga many times. When Jimin came all the way to US for JHope’s Lollapalooza concert & show his full support & many video of them going out for shopping & visiting museums together & practicing dancing together. V said Jimin would often sleep over & spent time with him(that is why Jimin is close to V’s parents as well). Jimin’s visits to Jin at his military base with Jin’s favorite food & photos of Jin & Jimin’s signature on the wall of restaurants, game places & escape room shop on Instagram celebrating Jin’s birthdays. Videos & tails of RM & Jimin’s nights bike ride together, them visiting museums & art gallery together & spent a lots of time together hanging out & talking. All those videos & photos of Jimin spending time together with jk & the way Jimin make sure to bring young jk along when he goes back to BuSan on each holidays & dropped jk to his family… And every time when any of BTS members are in stress, sad or crying(especially 2 MakNae), Jimin always has stayed by their side console them & take care of them. I think Jimin is the one who is the most closest to each every BTS members & even though Jimin is the last member to join BTS, still he is the ultimate member who keep showing & demonstrating them truthfully & realistically how to nurture & growth their friendship & bonding of teammates in their life, even with their individual differences & with his considerate actions & caring words, Jimin has keep on reminding them importance of strong team bonding & how precious their friendships are!

Yes, I think that Jimin as well as Hobi are the nurturers of the group. They are very intuitive and want to give comfort. I mean, Jungkook called Hobi an angel last summer during a live. 😇🥹 But I think they all can bring comfort to each other, just in different ways.

Love this! I'm going to rewatch each member's Suchwita interview. I saw a post recently that said BTS didn't get paid until 2 years after debut. The hunger, drive and ambition they all had to have to push through the hardships are truly remarkable. They truly deserve their stardom, it's very well earned.🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🤟🇺🇲

Sadly for Hobi who worked so hard for this album and is such a great beautiful idea Army boycotting is working as with Taehyung. I wish this boycotting was in place when Golden came out which is Scooter Braun project. Bang Sihyuk did a bad deed bringing in a negative influence to BTS and Army world. All who bought Golden are directly funding Scooter's Zionist ideals sadly, If Scooter is out after all the boycotting it protects BTS's hard earned clean reputation. If Suga D day concert is shown in Israel that's the not good for BTS. Bang Sihyuk isn't going to get effected like BTS. A greedy man.

I love the different dynamics between the members so much. 💜 I find it frustrating that ARMY more often than not turns their closeness into shipping. It really cheapens that bond and how they each love each other in their own ways. I would definitely watch a video or series of videos on their individual bonds and dynamics.

I am a shipper but in my culture love is not only viewed as something romantic, we celebrate love and friendship. In my culture there is always love AND friendship, in English I do not know how to explain it, here you have like and then love, we have an intermediate feeling between like and love: querer (the literal translation is want but want does not evoque the same in this case nor is the best translation), we love our parents, we like people, we "queremos" to most of our friends we like them more than casual aquitances but does not love them as our family except that small percentage that become or choosen family, to them we love them. So in my culture a shipp, as I understood it, is just the celebration of this beautyfull connection of two persons and their love, understood not as "eros" but as "agape", a love born from friendship that is as equal importance than the one of an actual partner or family and that should be treated an cultivated with the same care. I know for a fact that the concept is not a norm around the world because during college all our foreing friends were out of their minds with us celebrating "Valentine's day" with all fanfare among our group of friends with gifts, dates and handmade chocolates (requested by our japanese friends) in what they used to think as a couples only celebration. They adopted our tradition because they liked this interpretation of the celebration (and I got a rose in may for making my first ever handmade chocolate just for my japanese friends that were not expecting anything that day). So, yes, I am a shipper but because I find endearing to watch the love Jimin has for V, the caring love of Jin to Jk and the way he loves to be childish with him in retrospective. I love the way Suga feels spoiled with J-Hope and the silent brotherhood of J-Hope and RM. Or the way CL treat with so much care and love to her members even if 2NE1 is no more, or as someone else has writed "I like the teather of human interactions" in a possitive way because it gives me more understanding of how to love others in the way they need it.

@@belaytriks I love that. I truly love the celebration of friendship, because it is an almost forgotten love in my culture. And it is one of my favorite things about BTS, how close they all are and how they aren't shy to show their affection and care. And I enjoy videos that focus on specific pairs as long as they stick to that understanding. Sope, Namjin, Kookmin, Taekook, etc... I love them all. But far too often those videos veer into shipping them romantically, and it can be very off-putting. They focus on a single moment, take it out of context and make it sexual. The moment there is slow mo and sexy saxophone I'm out. Lol.

I am sure I wrote the above after watching many disturbing videos. Honestly this fandom has changed since 2013. With that said I truly hope Bts comes back in 2025. My frustrations got the best of me. I really liked the episode. I agree with you about the different dynamics each member has with each other. I personally think they are all close to each other. But they seem closer when they are working on projects that they relate to. Or when they have downtime. Just like me and my sisters. Sometimes I am closer to my older sister, other times I am closer to my younger sister, and other times they are closer to each other.

You voiced what has fascinated me every single day since I came to know BTS - what on earth made Bang Si-hyuk put together these seven boys into a band? How on earth did he perceive their entirety, not just as musicians and entertainers, but as the beautiful beings we know them to be, from the rough diamonds they were then? I hope one day there will be an illuminating biography (or better yet, autobiography!) on Bang PD…. And yes! Please do do another video on Suga’s relationship with the two youngest….!!

Oh! that last part is something I also noticed and found super wholesome. The way they all interact is varies but like you said there is definitely comfort and fondness under each dynamic. I especially noticed it during Jungkook’s first time in suchwita. How JK felt totally comfortable being himself and Yoongi letting him be and being fond of his behavior. It just felt kind of warming to see them interact, they may not have said any loving words but you felt it.

Yes! The interaction was so sweet, JK just being himself and Suga was so cute the way he was giggling about it. They have fun together even if he sometimes finds JK annoying, he admires JK’s talent and thinks he’s cute and funny too.

Suga seems to have almost a *need* to support his team's confidence. He is always being the cheerleader, telling them not to diss themselves, saying how awesome he thinks they are. And yet he's perfectly willing to get sassy and savage and tease them, too, if he thinks they're getting a little too cocky. It's a funny kind of, 'Nobody picks on my brothers but me... not even themselves' vibe. Which is not to say that the others aren't supportive of each other; of course, they are. Suga just seems to take it to the furthest extreme. And then he gets shy when they praise and support him, which is simply adorable.

He mentioned, in the interview he went to with Jimin (Deun Deun) that he films his Suchwita episodes for about four hours and gets cut down to about thirty or forty minutes. He wasn't prepared for JK, who goes on live for 2-3 hours at a time and spends most of it singing and sometimes dancing for (with) ARMY.

Favourite friendship is Hobis with everyone, he is the true sunshine ☀️💜

JIMIN made history on the BB Hot 100 as the first and only korean soloist who topped on the chart with a Korean solo song and have credits on it! The king of kpop for a reason 👑 All of them are successful but jimin did it with his name alone

I enjoyed this video. Thanks for making it. I would enjoy you talking about the closeness between members. You can see distinct differences in Suga’s mannerisms when one on one with each member. I think I was the most surprised about his relationship with V. Or maybe I just don’t pay enough attention to it. Anyway, V has a quirky way of thinking. Unless you really focus on this thought process, V seems to go down many rabbit holes but somehow ends his thoughts with great impact. Suga really made V comfortable and was able to lead V back to the topic or encourage V without manhandling the conversation. I actually didn’t think Suga could do that. Again, I fault is mine for lack of observation. JK was a ball of energy that Suga managed with a very light touch. I found it endearing. As you said, Jimin and Suga are Tom and Jerry. You can tell there is so much synergy between them that when Taemin was the guest and Jimin came, Suga commented that he was focusing on Jimin too much. The relationship between Jin and Suga was something I saw from In The Soop. They look like to people who understand each other on a deep level and don’t always need words. RM and Suga seem to have connection through their mutual look of lyrics and learning. They are two powerful people. The conversation is so enlightening when they speak. Jhope and Suga have a dynamic that I am still pondering.

If you go back to the very beginning JHope talked about literally slipping into Suga's studio so he could sit and listen while Suga worked and Suga remembers Hobi sitting alone and he would go and talk to him when other trainees would not. They both appreciate each others special talents Suga helped Hobi rap with confidence and Hobi helped Suga to, eventually, have fun dancing. Special, intuitive young men-all of BTS!

Suga was the one who when V would say something which seemed strange or in his home town accent would rephrase it or "translate" it so the others understood what he was trying to say. Admittedly at first Suga didn't know how to take him but soon realised his thought pattern was different but deep and very intelligent. That's when he started helping him be understood more clearly

Bts are true artistic geniuses that recognised their gifts as such. Thus they are grateful for the Muses that stir their hearts, thankful for their fans who are not merely treated as consumers but seen as friends and partners in their creative process the whole community around them from Bang Si Hyuk to their managers, stylists, background dancers choreographers, trainers, body guards, band and instrumentalists behind them. This village attests to the BTS humility, respect they show to them. It is awesome to seem them supporting each other rather than compete against one another. It's destiny.

I always thought jin close with all of them and they depend on him alot.

SUGA has said that if they had not been thrown together in BTS they would not have been friends because they are so different. They wouldn't have met in a normal way and developed a friendship. Yes yes yes this is what I thought about they would never have met and if one or two did they would never been the same circumstances with the same soil to grow in in order to form their bond had it not been for BigHit.

You got a great response to the topic. It is something of much speculation. Thank you for sharing. Jungkook lives to sing. Its his love and his hobby. He's like me, I sing all day long everyday. I live for it. So I see a kindred soul. I always tell people I'm basically JK with Suga's energy, lol. And yes, I agree with Suga, I would like to be reincarnated as a rock xD I read their book and something caught me off guard. Suga mentioned that at the time, at least, he grew to resent that blue color that signals dawn. I seriously thought that was my bizarre idiosyncrasy because I too hate that specific color for the very same reason; it signals morning. The night has ended. So when I read that it surprised the hell outta me. That must mean there are more people who have the same relationship with the dawn. Weird. Also right at the end you were talking about Jimin and the dynamics and there are observations you made. I would absolutely love to hear you expand upon the subject. I would love to know what you have observed regarding his interpersonal dynamic and your opinions. That's a guilty subject for me because I would love to unravel all the mysteries there. 😊 Jimin is an extremely unique person and he's very interesting.

It’s not easy to define who is closest. They all give each other something. We will take one member . Let’s go with Jimin vs the other 6. Jimin and Jin. Jin has been called by the members the mother of the group. This might be why Jimin and Jin are close . That maternal aspect of Jin’s personality. Rm? Jimin has great respect for rm and his maturity and his knowledge and wisdom. He shares his love for art. Jhope? Roommate! These two have a closeness because they’ve shared many secrets and private talks as roommates. They share the love of dance. Suga? Jimin’s bond with suga surprises people because they are so opposite. They are very close and often eat dinner and go out for drinks. Jimin calls suga a lot. Suga gives Jimin what he lacks. Confidence. Suga never lets Jimin put himself down. V? Well we know they are soulmates and best friends. They always are there for each other. V gives Jimin that brotherly love he needs. Jk? Jk is comfort. They are each others emotional support. Jk gives Jimin laughter at times when Jimin needs it. Because both wear their hearts on their sleeves, they tend to be the most emotional of the group. This requires a lot of hugging. lol. So if you do this with each member you will see no one is as close as all 7 to all 7.

Ok lets go addressing your relationshop analysis about Jimin vs 6 other members: Jin: he may cook food but according to Jimin J Hope is like the mother who dances. Jimin is the emotional glue to BTS. He is the carer the nurturing one. So it's not because Jin is maternal they are close! They just get along (even think alike) and according to Jimin he made him take life less seriously (although Jin has more dark moments hence Awake than Jimin has). Jimin is naturally mature, mindful and takes life seriously and so Jin inspired him to lighten up a bit. RM: certainly Jimin has respect for him like towards all his hyungs (he said they kept maknaes warm by suporting them all these years in Suchweta ep). But the respect is mutual. He said in recent Hybe T&D interview that without Jimin it would have been a disaster for BTS. He has also said Jimin may appear like a baby but he is the grandfather of the group. He consults both J Hope and Jimin re BTS matters and you can see in BTS documentary all three discussing logistics of the concert stage during tours. RM has praised Jimin in numerous occasions for his wisdom, altruism and even not being petty jealous about members like himself is prone to. Jimin gives lot of support to RM which you can see in their various content. They are good close friends too. RM is very particular about how he addresses each member. For him his friends are J Hope and Jimin who he spends most time with (he even gave special gifts to them), maknaes are little bros, Suga and Jin are hyungs. They like art but that's not the bonding factor for them. J Hope: yes they are certainty very close but not just because they were once roommates, have shared secrets and have love of dance. They just clicked. One can live as roommates or be married to someone for years but end up being enemies. Hobi has said in numerous occasions when Jimin joined BTS he felt lot less alienated and without him he would have had difficult time during debut years and during pandemic. RM said in last festa Jimin and Hobi are each others number 1.

Continuing sorry as commemt section did not allowe long reply. Suga: yes Jimin called Suga a lot (but why not they are brothers?) regularly especially during D Day concert to give him support. You need to see the context. In Jimmy Fallon interview Jimin mentioned Hobi as the one he is in touch with most and then Suga and the rest. He watched diligently every Suchweta ep because he was worried how Suga will do as he is shy. He supported Suga during both operations even cut his food for him when his shoulder was healing. Suga may appear a bruiser but he is a softie and Jimin and other members know that. They just clicked regardless of opposites or not. Jimin is a flexible accommodating person and can harmonise with any types. They clearly like hanging out with each other. They are drinking buddies like Jin and Jungkook apart from his non celebrity mates. It's an old, tired and distorted myth re Jimin's lack of self confidence. Jimin doesn't need Suga to give him confidence. You are talking about an artist who was already a star pre debut in his home town, a class President for 9 years and school valedictorian. Jimin is a perfectionist and every little mishap or error in his performance stressed him out a lot in roookie days (now he is still a perfectionist but less irked by uncontrollable errors in performances. He said in his live not to worry about the errors because it doesn't bother him so much now) and because he wanted to improve on his vocals (having had no vocal training pre debut unlike other vocal members but just made to carry all the high notes) during early years. That doesn't mean lack of confidence, it's just wanting to improve. Finally Jimin is shy initially and very humble especially re his work and talent. So obviously Suga made sure he gets his due like praising his vocals (he made sure Jimin was in vocal line not rap line since Jimin has unique tone), nominating him to be BE album project manager (when less shy member like Taehyung volunteered to be BE artistic director), etc. Like RM said in Best of BTS Jimin always puts others before himself and is selfless and so it's good Suga looks out for him. Like Jin did in early Festa where he praised Jimin for coming up with Blood Sweat and Tears melody otherwise we would have never heard from Jimin and etc. Taehyung: yes they are like childhood friends and brothers. Yes they look out for each other too especially in early days.But its not true about Taehyung giving Jimin brotherly love he needs (?). Jimin has 6 other brothers plus one blood younger brother. In fact Jimin is the emotional strength for Taehyung. You can see examples of it in most BTS extracurricular content. Taehyung himself have said it explicitly. Jimin is his favourite and he is close to J Hope too.

Final reply sorry so long. Jungkook: again like Taehyung Jungkook relies on Jimin emotionally. Jungkook is Jimin's cute baby bro who makes him laugh (Jin and RM makes him laugh the most tho) and can have fun times with rough and tumble games (I think if Jimin wasn't in the group Jungkook wouldn't have had a playmate of similar age group that he clicked with (Jungkook himself said it they clicked I dont think he and Taehyung click that much as friends. JK regards Taehyung more as an older brother unlike with Jimin) and could fool around like young energetic teenagers). They are both athletic and so shared that activity. Jimin is a carer, a nurturer and in his own words said he is not a leaner on people in times of stress but more a person people lean to (Jimin did open up to members over the pandemic about his depression and they told him to write songs to deal with it. Hence face was born). So he definitely doesn't seek emotional support from Jungkook nor Taehyung. Besides Jimin has his dad and Hobi to talk to if anything needs clarifying. Jimin was a great confidence booster for Jungkook until quite recently. You can see in Bangtan TV how Jimin makes sure Jungkook says something in the camera because he was very shy. He was the one who started talking about Jungkook's great strength and how he aces in things in Run BTS etc. Taehyung made JK less shy but Jimin gave him the confidence and steady support (incl paying the most for his food according to JK :). Other hyungs apart from Taehyung and RM paid for his food too ofc). RM literally coined the term Golden maknae in their rookie vlog to boost JK's confidence when he was a very young teenager. In recent letter to Army by Jimin from the military he mentioned a lot about how Jungkook was a huge strength and comfort to him and how everyone there thought highly of him. I think he was trying to soften the fact that Jungkook didn't graduate on top 5 or 10 in their unit like the other 5 members (Suga can't do regular training due to his shoulder injury) and he was sad for him. JK must have been gutted since we know he hates to lose :) Not true Jimin like Jungkook is the most emotional of the group. Its more Taehyung who has his heart on his sleeves. Jimin is the most empathic and sensitive towards others needs but very rarely he express his pain and hurt openly because like Jin he doesn't want to worry people. He said he has learnt to just accept and react less emotionally towards people who don't care about him. Jungkook is very fond of Jimin and vice versa.He is the only member JK greeted publicly on his birthdays for many years and took him on Tokyo trip for birthday too. Even staff asked him why he filmed only Jimin in Netherlands Golden closet video to which he replied Jimin just happens to be there when it obviously wasn't factual :) Yes Jimin hugs all members not just Jungkook. Jimin is the only one RM is comfortable hugging. Hobi and Suga (like RM he is only comfortable with Jimin's show of affection) demands hugs from Jimin :) Jimin's warm hugs, expressive easy physical tactility and sweet emotional demonstrativeness are legendary and is a prized and significant feature of BTS legacy as a boy band where such features don't exist. I see more kpop boy groups are slowly emulating it but not in the same level as BTS because they don't have Jimin. I think Jimin has a very calming energy and that's why both the maknaes seem to like being around him. Lastly Jimin supported all member solo prohects and spent some time with every member before they went to military. He gave healing hugs to Hobi and probably did to all members before going to military. Kindly observe carefully every BTS extracurricular content incl lives, Weverse and member opinions of other members plus what's happening in the background of such content (example in Run BTS Flying Yoga where Jimin is seen clearing drink bottles barely visible on screen) and other people's interviews on their encounter with BTS. Otherwise in your analysis Jimin comes across as a person very contrary to how he is. Its like a character assassination and like those funny BTS funny compilations where members are wrongly caricatured like in cartoons. According to such compilations Jin and J Hope are supposed to be coward line and look at them in military now (JImin too was so badly treated prior to enlistment by even some Armys joking about how badly he is going to do in military because he is small and pretty which sounded overtly homophobic. And now we all know Jimin got Daesang/ graduated top of his training unit not just top 5 or 10/ Bonsangs like the other members. He even git commendation from the division commander and now allegedly in the fire direction centre which is the brain of the artillery. Not condoning military but just talking justice. People forget Jimin is the only Taekwondo Black Belter in BTS and trained in kendo), RM forever clumsy one and Jimin not confident and forever short little one when in fact he isn't (have seen him live in concerts few times and he and Jungkook are same muscular build and height. Jimin just has smaller head and slimmer shoulders. Jungkook perpetuated this myth by kind of bullying him about his height publicly). And Suga is the poker face one who only sleeps (now we know its due to his injured shoulder pain killers) and Jungkook hates to lose (he said recently pre hiatus that he is no longer like that although his recent album promo activity and interviews proves otherwise). I think Taehyung fortunately may have escaped being caricatured. . Right from rookie days the members chose Jimin as the one they go to chat when they are stressed. He is the emotional glue of BTS not something you portrayed him to be. Anyway all in all Jimin is the only one who is closest to all members (they even said this in Hawaii Bon Voyage). But they are a very closeknit group like a family (in fact more than a family since not all families are close knit and not all siblings get along) who have shared their most formative and extremely eventful years together for last 13 years or so. And they trust each other implicitly. BTS is their true home.

While I do agree with you broadly, it just really baffles me when people run this lack of confidence narrative with Jimin. Like this is so old, it needs to go away. While Suga and other members do encourage Jimin and vice versa, it doesn't mean that Jimin lacks confidence as he himself has stated countless times. Jimin is a perfectionist, extremely hard on himself, he's his own biggest critic but as in his own words, he's not scared of messing up, and doesn't take his mistakes too seriously, because he's aware of his skills, he knows he can do better. That man is an overachiever, a go-getter, who like every other being and artist faces anxiety, nervousness at times and just because he's extremely open about his struggles doesn't mean he lacks confidence, infact it's the opposite. Every other member of BTS have also expressed their own struggles and troubles as well, but it's so weird how people try to stick this narrative with just Jimin, If one truly pays attention to the things he says about himself, you'll know just how deep and strong his confidence runs, so many times he has stated, that no matter what he can make his own way, how he told his dad before his debut that no matter what he does he'll be great and he'll make him proud, how when he as a little kid in his school wrote on his paper about his dreams that he'll be on the stage, that he'll master dancing and will pursue singing to become an artist, a performer and will make music. He achieves whatever he wants to achieve by doing his utmost. His honesty and awareness about himself is just another display of the sheer level of true confidence that he has.

His performance is always felt through his expressions. Jimins smile and kindness and creatively phenomenal dance. J-hopes joy but also intense rap filled with emotion. RM's powerful rap that smashes beautifully. Suga' poetic flows that are so in your face stunning. Jungkooks sense of humor his beautiful voice . Jins high notes that are incredibly stunning. They all bring so much to the table every one of them. I really do think that each one of their creativity and styles have built into something so special.

In the end he believed in Jimin because the other's believed in Jimin. He was open to hear and see what others had to say. I somehow doubt if that was another company that wouldn't have happened.

All true what you said but i wondered why you didn´t mention Jimin´s new vocal lessons because i have a theory that he will keep practise that while in the military and off for vacation. I think he has someone at hybe or he can do it online. idk much about singing but i was really curious about what you learn at beginning level. just thinking that jimin did all of that without having the right technique he run on pure talent and was always in a hurry finding his unique tone that he didn´t stop to learn how to do it right because every singer is diffrent like Jk said trying to hlp jimin once. I think jimin use way more air than the other members when he sings it sounds like it but idk

We also need to remember that like Jin, Jimin also didn't have any professional experience in singing, but he did have natural talent in singing. And unlike other members who received vocal lessons and training before their debut, Jimin did not receive any vocal lessons and had to train himself by watching others as stated by him multiple times, because he was the last one to join the team, with only 6 months of training. And since then BTS has been working constantly, and so has Jimin. Without any vocal training, he still debuted as the lead vocalist, and is the one who's always gotten the most insane notes in their songs as well the hardest and most intricate choreographies at the same time. He has been working on his vocals and he can and will definitely improve as a vocalist.I truly hope he gets enough time to relax during his time in the military. As knowing him, he's definitely working on himself, looking for growth and ways to improve his skills and craft. As stated by everyone he's worked with, whether that's Taeyang, Taemin, the members or other artists, Jimin is always looking for ways to grow, to do better, to be better. And his growth isn't limited to him, we have to remember how crucial Jimin's role has been and is in the quality of BTS's performances. The BTS book gives so much insight into how Jimin looked for ways in which they could improve as performers and the level of their performances as well by analysing other artist's performances, learning from them and implementing them in their own performances and more.

Yes, please do some videos of the guys or at least Suga's relationships with the guys individually. I love to see how he has lead and influenced each of them but its also different for each member. I always felt it was him that tried to help the youngest ones along the way. I remember when he would interpret for Taehyung cause he had trouble speaking and the members called it Taetae language. @ystrw No hun, Suga waz his interpreter and the others always said he was speaking in Taetae language. Watch their earlier videos from 2014 to around 2017 and you'll see it is Suga that does it. The Festa's from those times show it also. Hope that helps . 🫰💜💜💜

I agree with your break-down of the group. I believe that all you said was very accurate, RM does and so does Jin show maturity, however, I so agree that Jungkook has come a long with his voice and growth as an artist. Tae too, has surprised me as well as J-Hope. I agree Jimin has a talent above the rest of them, that being said he has so much talent and many gifts. The whole group of men are talented and bring so much to the group in their own forms. Thank you for doing this video, I just found you and will be a viewer of your channel.

I just want to say that for me- probably others don't have this issue; I multitask very poorly- but it's very hard to listen to you narrate and also read the subtitles and text that come up on the screen, because what you're talking about rushes past what is on the screen. For example, when you're narrating what JK and Suga discussed during Suchwita, your narration speeds past what Jungkook is saying- and then when the Bon Voyage clip is up, you're describing what he did in the Suchwita episode, which we now can't see. I'm a bit puzzled to why you showed RM during Jimin's segment (for the record, I really don't know what 'fusing the empty slots of his emotion and cognition' means. I do know that I don't have any primal musical instincts to appeal to, though.) And again, what you are saying does not match up with what you're putting on the screen: you make that statement about fusing, and then move on, but then you place that same statement on the screen while talking about 'scraping the surface of his artistry.' I would respectfully suggest making it a little easier for a viewer, especially with such a deep topic, by either doing the narration yourself and using the occasional still capture to illustrate the point, or simply letting the clips make their statements and then expanding on that in your own words.

Since you are usually 100% on point about our guys, it made me smile at your slip-up, calling Jin "RM's only Hyung." No worries though. all Jk's heavy streamed songs are all american collabs... it means , its not just jungkooks fans listening to his songs . check his own solo songs in Golden , its not same results wirh his American artist collaborated songs.

Not true. It’s just that with the collabs remixes and versions it’s easier to stream multiple times. By the time you put all of these together in a playlist with the other members songs jks will obviously have more streams. If the other members had these tools too the results would be similar. Don’t forget also he had the advantage of playlists that others didn’t have and from day one. Remember jk told us in his live he wanted to rest and had no interest in making a solo album but then at the last minute he changed his mind. He has the right to do this. The company had to help him put everything together quickly using similar tools as they did for Dynamite giving us great streaming opportunities. Also you can’t have the lead singer of the biggest band putting out something average. The collabs from scooter were the answer & helped him tremendously. Jk said this himself and that he couldn’t have done it without him. Not necessarily for streams but it got his name out there. Streams didn’t come much from collabs especially usher fans as sadly they made it clear they didn’t like the collab or jk calling him horrible names and picking apart his dance. It’s pretty clear jk is desperate for recognition in the west. The others don’t seem to care about that as much and are happy to make music for army. Whether the others use these methods in the future or not is something we will just have to wait and see.

I want to admire Bang Si Hyuk again. His intuition, wisdom and experience brought the guys together. Make a show about him. Music, creativity + business = it's very exciting

I love what you said about RM and SUGA's close friendship. Neither one has a personality that is super demonstrative, but you can tell that they know and respect each other so much. My favorite interaction of theirs is this interview for their unit song, "Respect." Please say more about the dynamic between Suga and V and Jungkook. I think the relationship between Suga and V is especially fascinating. I think their current bond was formed out of some level of initial misunderstanding/miscommunication and it’s especially sweet that they came to be a close as they are. My opinion, is that Suga probably found V “a bit much” like an over energetic puppy, and that V was probably determined to make Suga succumb to his charms.

I think V is the one that makes the dances his own. Just my thoughts.

I feel it's jimin and jk. They enlisted together. Made trips alone without the other members. (Not shipping) But that what I see. But they all do love each other deeply.

j-hope is the one who really lived up to the standards what bts has before. The hard work he put into his personal best on top of being heavily active on bts’ projects. Hobi’s wisdom is usually ignored by this fandom. The fact that j-hope constantly striving to learn and improve shows his maturity. Need to expand better on j-hope’s character.

All I know is Jungkook helped Jimin, JHope, V and Suga on their solo music.

I'm not sure if you understand how artists and features work and the making and crediting process of music, I can't say anything regarding that statement in regards to Suga as I don't remember the credits of D-DAY, but Jhope and Jimin? He was featured and credited as an artist. Especially with Jimin's album Face, where he was not even a feature and only did some bg vocals for less than 30 secs on a hidden song, and he was credited for those. Do you know just how many artists and features are credited on JK's album Golden, did all those artists helped him and did him a favour too? how did he help other members?😂he help JIMIN??? you mean that “yeah yeah yeah” in HIDDEN SONG？ you called it HELP？ Jimin is credited in ALL HIS SONGS of FACE . as far as i know , Only Namjoon help Jimin. Jungkook dont have credit , even one song of his album , he cant even help himself to do solo. He depended to two CEOs.
