I am constantly amazed by the depth of your reflections, both by the creative process of BTS themselves but also by how thorough your reviews are. Thank you, I'm really enjoying your videos 💜

Thank you for another excellent reviewed chapter and your valuable input as an OG Army. There is so much misinformation in regards to the contract topic and growing negativity towards Hybe/BigHit. Your explanation of this chapter 5 confirms that BTS/BH have had a well sorted out plan, timeline and vision (including military service) since 2019 or 2020+ that benefits all 7 members as a group and freedom of expression on their solo projects. The amount of content they’ve been providing is amazing and keeps fans on their toes and hyped for their second chapter. As a token of appreciation for them, the best we can and should do is unconditionally support each one of their solo careers. Their highly expected comeback will be spectacular.💜 Woof! Woof! 🐶🤭😉

I so enjoy your sharing of the book, I am still reading it, about 3/4 complete and enjoying it. So great to hear that there'll be more books, they are amazing and have so much to share. You know I've seen so much negativity about ARMY and BTS, the book touches on that, but I'm so glad and impressed that they choose not to go into detail on it or emphasize on it, but rather mention it enough to get an idea but take you with them in the book to move on. I really do like this, even yesterday I saw some negative comments on ARMY, I looked at it and went on to the next comment. I think BTS & ARMY are great examples to follow, stay focused on your goal and not on people. Thank you so much for sharing and look forward to more.

As always, great essay! I particularly liked that you pointed out how BTS treats ARMY as a plus. They have never talked down to their fans or dumbed down concepts for them. I sometimes feel like I have to study more to keep up with them, but this is very satisfying to my curious mind. I know this book is only talking about music and career things, but a part of me wishes they would include some gossip too. Nosy of me; I'd love a juicy tell-all! Finally, just your tale of going to the BBMAs was interesting to me. I'd love to hear more of the things that went on, things like the Google campaign which aren't in any history book but deserve to be preserved.

I finished the book yesterday and really enjoyed linking the story with the relevant music or events. But I feel disappointed not to have gained a better knowledge of their individual production process from writing, composing, editing etc which is what I've been missing personally. If otherscan point me in the direction of finding more such content I'd be grateful 🙏🏻 Thanks for your thoughts again, much appreciated 👏🏻

How very interesting! Thanks again for sharing your experiences and your insights! I am an old sceptic so I thought the author uses the BTS-Army connection (everything is connected to Army) as a way to organize vast and diverse material. I am thinking of Wings and Mots which after all are concept albums, using the presentation of the books. All about Army? As I approached BTS basically through the lyrics I don't particularly like DNA. The way you look at it is new to me.

Because you are an experienced ARMY and I am so new, I would like guidance as to how to be most effective at supporting a BTS or solo release to maximize my impact. I hope that makes sense. I was stunned yesterday to see how close that particularly offensive number 2 song was on the BB H100 and want to do all I can to try and widen that margin. I also wonder if you know if they have renewed their contracts further. Thank you!

For instance, when there are multiple versions of a song, should the focus in the beginning be on one version or is it just as impactful to branch out into the other versions.

@@midkiffminor I'm not an expert, but I feel like fans can best support BTS by being constant in their habits. Stream the new releases without dropping previous ones. Premium streams count more than free ones, so if you can't afford premium, try to get a free trial in one of the services during comeback seasons. KZread is very important too. Also, remixes should not substitute for the original version but be used as fillers. And last, buy if you can. Hope this helps. There are many large ARMY accounts on ex-bird app that do activities to help with the streaming and buying.

I feel like there is a lot missing in the book. I want to hear how they feel regarding the 2016 Busan performance that got canceled. I wish they talk more in details about the prejudices they face in both Korea and America music industry.

Me too but I think maybe their company is afraid of more backlash and other fandoms hate which is rightfully so could happen (this is random, but I’m korean and I just want to say even how open bts is about anything since the beginning of their career, and lyrics that talk about depression, mental health it is almost unheard of because it’s our culture to hold it all in even now there is rarely anyone that talk about “depression” to friends or even family members it is taboo to talk such things and mental health services for school and university? There is no such thing which is maybe why committing su-cide is so big here and many asian cultures which is also how I fell in love with bts just how are they this tough and strong to air out all of these things like in Yoongi’ s album (I know this isn’t uncommon in the west to talk about mental health etc but in korea as an korean, it is incredibly hard to do so without huge huge courage (sorry if my english isn’t good) but what I mean is speaking all of this maybe why a lot of these things are not talk as much since it can be deemed as “sensitive” and maybe them directly talking about this and the industry in terms makes the media hate them and would make consequences towards bts as sad as that sounds (if they talk about how their own kpop industry in korea treats them and air out the discrimination of them even till now, they might not be allowed to join in shows of MMA, MAMA, AAA etc (i hope that makes sense)
