Glad someone’s sees how good my Girl Majik is absolute queen of control

I'm sure LC has already prefaced this at the start of his video, but a friendly reminder that all characters excel at something in this game and with the right builds and setup, they can shine in your personalized team comps. None of the characters are inherently bad, because being the superheroes that they are, most of them are just entangled in a show of one upping another. My personal favs are Nico and Magik thus far, with Nico's builds having so much RNG in it but being impactful enough when the stars are aligned.

@@pancakespushups4318 Blade is my favourite... the sheer damage he can put out over time by dropping Bleed on everything is ridiculous. Hero combo does approx 460 damage right now whereas Blade can do 5 x 80 damage (400) plus 10 bleed stacks worth 200 each. That's 2,400 damage for only 3 heroism And he draws an extra card for each KO I do see him dropping off slightly in higher difficulties but he's still probably my preferred character to bring Slowly getting used to Cap America's skillset too. Super useful with the right combo

@@johnparagon-projectnifty1839 Ultimate III Hunter with Nico can decimate everything within 2 turns... Call To Arms + Holy gift with +2 heroism mod = 8 heroism in one cardplay... Strengthened on Nico and Crack the sky... This can oneshot Dread Maiden to... they need to up the difficulty

Just like you had both the captains together I have Nico and strange together, Nico has been amazing for me. I know the randomness can suck sometimes but most of the time she’s great.

Magik actually starts out very weak, simply because her kit often requires her to use 2 cards (limbo portal + x knockback card), so she uses up cards too fast - the limbo portal needs to get "draw 1 card" on it in addition to being free, but if you get friendly enough for her, she starts making free portal cards, and on top of that, she gets an amazing non-free portal card that greatly increases her portal damage Captain America surprised me by sucking at first, but when I upgraded his cards to +s, they became a zillion times better. Shield Toss+, which is a big aoe dmg + taunt + weaken, wins the game Captain Marvel is strong on normal, but her block is broken too easily on high heroic+, and this is a big problem because her damage cards are definitely balanced around her being binary most of the time, so when she's not binary she deals inferior damage. So at higher difficulty, she needs a tank to protect her /facepalm, and her best damage card has a taunt on it which is bad Ghost Rider's hellmaw is trash at normal diff, his big damage card he starts with discards the hand, BUT on high heroic+ the hellmaw and lashes are sick as hell for taking out high hp targets early... but there's some rng there so be careful

I think alot of people, myself included sleep on Nico and Wanda. Nico because of her randomness with her cards and Wanda because of her chaos magic.

I personally really dig Nico’s gameplan and her deck can be extremely powerful. Wanda on the other hand is just flat out underwhelming. Maybe I need more time to explore her options but she’s just not it atm.

@@LC356 I like nico, but wandas problem is that in order to make her environmental attacks work, you need to be able to spawn new explosives. So you take wanda as 1 of your 3 characters, and dedicated cards of hers to doing her giant explosive aoe, but it chains and destroyes every environmental item on the map. The opportunity cost is just too high. basically a 2 card combo and then you out of ammo unless the hunter spawns new ones, which is then a 3 card combo, just to do like 2x offense to everyone on he field. They should either bake in the 40% larger explosives in to her passive ability, or make that card cause explosives to apply their stun/weak/vuln to enemies hit by her environmental attacks. Or both. She probably feels really good early game or lower difficulty settings. her ability to apply resists and heal to allies, debuff enemies, and do a big aoe that on low difficulty maybe feels decent. But on higher difficulties that aoe barely scratches enemies.

@@LC356 Been running Wanda On ultimate 3 to heavy success later in the game. Her ability that makes enemies hit one another (sometimes twice) is SO strong when average enemies are hitting for 500 damage, they just kill each other off much faster than your heroes can unless you abuse the Hunter's cost reduction abilities on Patience / other character's ultimates. Her mods for her chain attack that apply weak to everyone she hits is also extremely good on certain stages. Long boss battles where you can start applying weak to 3-5 enemies make her shine and the ability that heals characters around her and grants them stacks of resist is also very good in a lot of scenarios. I don't think she's the best character in the game or anything like that, but I actually think she scales to become better as difficulty goes up.

Ironman's damage is off the charts, tactical strike can go above 4 strikes, you're easily looking at 1000+ damage. Air superiority with a vishanti bonus is also nuts, not uncommon that he clears the board on round 1. And his ultimate? Unlimited stacking of redraws on it........... I don't think any other spell comes close damage wise.

Yeah I found out about the Tactical Strike limit after I got done editing the vid. I think Iron Man is definitely S-Tier in this game. Quite insane in all aspects.

yup, the avengers lineup is outrageously good. dr strange for the 2 item uses, use one that gives overpowered and marked or item draw, cap america for item draw, and then iron man to kill everything on the field turn 1 even on ult 3 difficulty.

I'm digging the Mega Man X-esque background music.

My top 3 are Captain, Iron, Hulk. My bottom 3 are Scarlit, Rider, Blade

Can't argue with most of your picks here nor your reasoning behind them. Though I would add if we are talking just Normal difficult or Heroic One you're sleeping on Nico if you didn't add her. Her damage is insanely high And she can consistently clear out multiple enemies with Witchfire and Witch Storm. The random nature of her cards makes her support cards a little underwhelming as you can find yourself drawing buffs or debuffs that don't fit the situation. Also as an added bonus she raises The Hunter's crit chance when you raise friend levels with her. Now the one place I disagreed with you was with Tony Stark. His redraw mechanic could make for some awkward situations where I don't have enough Iron Man cards to do what he wants to do, but I can't redraw them for more impactful cards. He is all you said when you get a good draw with him, but when you're sitting with two of his cards in hand and are trying to sculp your strategy for the turn he can feel like taking a mulligan. For example Air Superiority can be too expensive to cast and you can't just drop it when it doesn't fit the plan so you're down one card on the turn. But maybe I just need more time with Tony, great video.

I used her as my main support for most of the game. I definitely enjoy her playstyle moreso than the majority of the cast. High Risk/ High Reward

I like Captain Marvel, but she's limited by two things; possibly bad card draw and a bugged passive. The most consistent downside with her is not being able to get into Binary. Sometimes you'll just draw a dead hand that won't let you get into binary quick enough. Even with her card that lets her draw a bunch of hero cards, sometimes you'll just draw the high heroism cost ones and won't be able to do shit. It can kill her momentum. On top of that, she doesn't really generate enough block on her own imo to maintain it after investing so much into her. Secondly, Binary is bugged. Sometimes it will turn itself off for no reason, completely wasting your effort to get it. Have had no explanation for this bug really, but it's super ass when it happens. I think Captain America is by far the best Tank in the game. Insane card draw, heroism king, has an insane taunt/block/counter combo in just 2 cards, and has some fine damage options too. Captain Marvel is a great Tank/DPS hybrid that works best when paired with Cap himself imo.

Dark Hunter + Annihilation destroys everything. makes ultimate 2 difficulty a cakewalk

A team of Light Hunter, Dr Strange, and Captain America seems best to me so far in my play through.

That's entirely dependent on the cards being drawn just like the rest of the cast.
