I started playing this a few months ago and I'm pleasantly surprised at how much fun I'm having with this. Shame it didn't do well sales wise, a guaranteed sequel with.... some improvements would be one of the best games that come out that year.

Legit everyone looks fun and viable. It's definitely going to require more than one playthrough to explore all the possible combinations and friendships.

Blade is sick. Marvel need to make him his own game for PS4 PS5 X Box X series and have Wesley Snipes voice as Blade or Michael Jai White

The 3 characters, outside of the hunter, that I’m looking forward to using are Wolverine, Captain Marvel, and Nico M. The character designs of those 3 are very intriguing to me. I’m looking forward to seeing how people use Magiik, Ghost Rider, and Blade. Can’t wait to put the hours on this game.

@@TheOrderofDylan Yea Captain Marvel is who I wanted to build my main team around, I love her binary mechanic gameplay. It’s very intriguing. Main team comp will be Captain Marvel as pseudo tank, Ironman as main damage but also supporting Captain Marvel’s block with his “Heads Up” support card. And for support for the group will be full light tree path Hunter and of course Doctor Strange when I’m not using my Hunter cause that passive of his to gain 2 heroism with a 50% chance?! Broken..lol. 2nd Main team comp will be Captain Marvel as the main damage dealer with binary, then Captain America will will be main full tank so that Captain Marvel can really fully unleash binary and not have to worry about countering and taunting fully when Cap America will do that majority of the time. And again Light Hunter or Strange as support again. Blade being a DOT character with bleed is very interesting to try out, and then have Captain Marvel go binary and just clean up house with those ticking down bleeding enemy health bars as well lol. Man this game has so many options!

I kno it’s an older vid but Magik has potential to be cracked. At around level 20 “Limbo’s Grasp” deals a bonus 100+ damage to an enemy knocked through a portal. And it stacks

I believe it means they have a little bonus in the next combat, usually from training with them

I would definitely go with a Ghost Rider, Magik, Nico team. The pure damage comp that also works since Magik can gather enemies up for Ghost Rider to wallop, and Nico albeit having the roulette effect can be quite helpful in dire situations.

If you’ve downloaded all files, the skins should be in your inventory. They are: Captain America (Future Soldier) Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell) Magik (Phoenix Five) Nico Minoru (Sister Grimm) Wolverine (X-Force)

I found Spiderman a bit tricky to play since his chain cards seem only to work when a target is knocked out. Otherwize the chain stopped. So chain with Spiderman worked only fine on weaklings. With other heros, chain worked, no matter if an opponent goes down or not. Dunno if that was a bug or a feature.

Yeah that’s just how that card works. A bit annoying, I agree, but it comes with a higher base damage number than most of the other chain attacks so it’s good for clean up on a group of lower health enemies.

I hate Ghostrider because nearly all of his skills require you to pay more than you should and those hell drops only work on weakened enemies. If you're going to toss an enemy into a hell drop, why don't you just KO them?

They are all interesting. I wonder how the 13th and 4 dlc characters play. What do you think is the worst card upgrade?

Some of the attack cards only upgrade with a percentage increase in damage, which is….fine, but the best upgrades are ones that add an additional effect that gives the card more utility. (i’m gonna have to start a drinking game with the amount of times I say utility)

@@logixindie There's a lot to learn about how mods work and how random they are, but the fact that they can add anything from redraws, to moves, to applying status effects will absolutely change how effective each card is and how you choose to build out a deck. You get a mod that applies vulnerable and now that's suddenly an ability you might start a combo of cards with.

Captain Marvel and Hulk also fulfill tank roles. Carol is more offense first, Hulk very taunt heavy

I really struggle to understand Magik. I should look for more tips around the internet.

I'm decently into marvel and a fan of turn based games, I'm just not sure about the card based mechanics of this game. Also from what I've seen some of the dialogue leaves something to be desired. From this brief overview, Magik, Scarlet Witch and Spiderman seems fun though.

Jake Solomon explained why he did not want o make it work like xcom. Xcom is about humans without superpowers.Thus they need to walk and to cover. Superheroes don’t need to walk, they can fly and teleport. And they don’t need cover either cuz they have superpowers to protect them from bullets and explosives. Et cetera. Personally, I love the game as it is and would not want it changed at al. I have also played all of the xcom games too. And I love those mechanics too. Anyways I think this game is great such as it is.

Why isn't anyone ever covering Deadpool, Morbius, and Venom?

Once I learned from this video and others how best to play each character. My game got instantly better. I’ve been building (not quite done yet) an excellent Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man team combo. I feel they each compliment each other very well. With Iron Man hogging the cards to dish out damage. Captain America taunting and tanking. And Spidey making use of the environment.

This game is lacking in characters, mostly Thor and Elsa Bloodstone, you're going to have a magic based marvel game with the avengers in it, but the main magic avenger is nowhere to be seen? Not even as DLC? What kind of bull shit is that?
