Whitney knew her gift inside and out. She was not a timid singer. No song was "too big" for her in her prime. She is one of FEW singers who was known for singing her songs better live than she recorded them. I love Mariah, but to those of you who have the audacity to say she was the better singer need your heads AND ears examined. If there is any doubt that Whitney was the better singer, just listen to her Star Spangled Banner. NO ONE has done it better. I don't believe any living or dead person before or after Whitney quite mastered the art of singing like she did. RIP NIPPY

Definitely, only Whitney Houston can do that runs and im very much sure, even Mariah nor Celine cannot do nor come close to do that vocal runs and techniques...

Mariah's been doing runs and riffs like this in every register for the last 30 years.
The girl wanted a sweet happy birthday and ended up getting yelled at......
You guys need to hold on to the past. That cow had more cracks in her voice starting in 2000 than a desert has without rain for 7,000,001 days!

+Segdirb it's okay. She's resting in peace now. She left her mark in this world. Have you? Probably not, she immortalized her music and voice. Much more than you'll ever do.
