Whitetail Buck almost breeds Doe to Death.

After a morning of hunting, Tim Lewis noticed this exhausted doe being bred and chased by a young buck, he was so enraged with the need to breed he nearly killed the doe trying to make her stand up so that he could breed her. RESPONSIBLE HUNTERS will always be the greatest friend of conservation our wildlife have.

The female stopped running away when I did that and looked at me, as though she was saying, "Did you do that for me?" After a moment, she calmly walked away, clearly happier now that she wasn't being chased. I know the drakes probably chased after her later, but I'm just glad I was able to give her a bit of a break, even for just a moment. XD

The point is nature is nature, and to them it's not sadistic, it's instinct. It's not about judging the ethics of animals, it's about people not being naive regarding the nature of animals.

@Henry The Pretzel yes. Those who live in the country side and on developing countries are very much aware of this, both in their own lives and on nature itself. I found a doe once like this, but I was too late. She'd been punctured too deep by an overly aggressive male. I sat with her while she took her last breaths. She was a young one too, only four or five years old. I couldn't do anything but pet her neck until she died about an hour or two later. I never forgot that sigh she let out just before she died. 😞

The one thing I remember the most was when he took his last breath. The light in his eyes just went away. It really screw me up mentally. It took me a few days to finally get over it and even now I'm still having nightmares about it. I wish I wasn't there when it happened but I promised him that I would be there till the end. It was just me and my aunt in the room. The only family members waited outside. I miss him very much but he was done dealing with the pain and suffering and I can't really blame him. Many times he would accidentally soil himself and sometimes his legs would give out. He just had enough with that. Not to mention the pain. I can't imagine what he went through but I know I would've done the same thing. May he Rest In Peace.

Deer are scared skittish animals. Deer in a forest with natural predators are rarely seen. Deer won’t go out in an open field if there are wolves around, they also won’t go out into the road, as they have no cover or camouflage. The only places deer are an “issue” are areas that hunters have killed off the natural predators, usually to protect livestock. This isn't commendable at all, and is the opposite of conservation. If deer were really an issue, you could always reintroduced native predators. Hunting is essentially carrying out the opposite of what nature does. Hunters kill the healthiest and strongest deer, rather than in nature where the sickest and weakest would be killed. Hunters also like to pretend that they’re all crack shot snipers too. The amount of deer that die instantly when shot is greatly less than the number that get shot and injured, spending their last moments on this planet running scared while bleeding out. Hunters like to pretend that it’s “moral” to hunt, but we don’t need them, neither do the deer…

If he didn’t, he’s stupid for risking his own life to save an animal. I have compassion on animals but don’t risk your life to save one individual animal. If you do believe that nature is nature and humans shouldn’t interfere then you should never help or else your full of shit and a hypocrite. You can’t have a belief then change it whenever its convenient. I can’t be vegan but then be like “oh but I eat a steak every now and then when I crave it”. @@lulufufu7139 yeah i don't agree with that. i share the belief of David Attenborough and many others that nature is nature and you shouldn't interfere. now if it was something directly caused by people like the deer was stuck in a net or something then yeah help since that isn't part of nature but just the things animals do to themselves should be left alone. David Attenborough filmed Life and explains why you should let nature take it's course. he uses an example of a leopard chasing a fawn. if you somehow chase the leopard away the fawn is disoriented and alone so it will probably die anyways. the leopard would just look for another fawn to kill but it used a large amount of energy so its own life or the life of its cubs are in danger now. in this video, the buck was clearly dangerous. by chasing it away it probably went and harassed another doe just like this one. or it fought with and killed/was killed by another buck ending in a worse situation.

They are so far removed from nature that they do not realize 99% of animals face a much more painful demise than getting taken quickly by a hunter. In nature you litterally get raped to death, torn limb for limb, left to die after sustaining injuries that our hospitals would classify as minor. It’s not a perfect beautiful fun place, there are two sides to it. The beautiful could not exist without the brutal.

As hunter I would kill this buck if in season because he has bad behavior that will hurt herd numbers in following years. There are plenty of good bucks that don't over breed the does, no need to let this one continue breeding.

I honestly believe that hunters are more in tune & have more respect for deer than people that dont hunt. We respect them & are aware of how intelligent they are from trying to match wits with them, not to mention we pour millions of dollars every year (hunting licenses) that hopefully go into helping them & their habitat. We also help farmers out & harvest deer to eliminate car crashes. My two cents

Many hunters do respect animals, and want to keep them wild. It’s about conservation, and maintaining population. I grew up with hunting not just deer but birds, and even the very rare bear. My dad has his rituals before hunting as well as after harvesting the animal, he says a prayer of thanksgiving for the animal and creator so that we can be fed. I’m Indigenous, and we are taught this from a young age, the animal gave its life for us to live and forever we carry their spirit with us. It’s incredibly beautiful, not to mention eating wild game, I’ve found gives me less indigestion and upset than the usual beef, pork, or even chicken. Now hunting is not for everyone and that’s very true, and I respect everyone’s beliefs. I wanted to add this about the spiritual aspect that some may have not considered as part of my culture.

It's crazy that I ran across this video. Three years ago I had this happen in my yard in the very back of the field at the tree line. I heard my ducks raising hell and noticed the were way back there which they never do because of predators of course. Went to see what was going on in the cart and she was in real bad shape. He beat her up real bad. The damn ducks were trying to help her. They were gathered all around her hollering like crazy at him while she lay there helpless. Damndest thing I ever seen. He would not stop! Was after the ducks and me! Attacked my cart several times. Finally my husband came out there with the truck when he realised I was fighting a buck with the golf cart. We finally got him backed up in the tree line so we picked her up and put her on the tailgate and took her up to the house. She was completely incapacitated. I made a bed for her on the back porch and she stayed there for two days. Ever since then she basically lives in my back yard. Every now and then I find her on the back porch. I've not seen her with fawn though. She's not tame but she will follow me everywhere I go outside. I believe she feels safe here..
