Do a little research and you’ll find out that when he first joined Deep Purple he was fat, spotty and cross eyed and they had to correct all of those things before they could take him on tour, he was on speed for the recording of the whole first album to cut his weight and wore corrective glasses. He turned out pretty well though. 👍

This song gives me chills I consider it my personal anthem. Love you, David and Whitesnake❤
This will always remain one of the most special nights of my life - seeing Whitesnake live for the first time and the emotions it evoked. I lost a dear friend at the age of 17 to suicide two years prior to this and our friendship started through our appreciation and love of David Coverdale and Whitesnake. Sadly, he never got to see David perform live, but he was with me that night in spirit. This music will live on eternally ♥️

Love 🇧🇷
I saw Whitesnake in the 80’s, they opened for BonJovi here in New York at Nassau Coliseum. They were great then and still are!!
Graduated high school in ‘84, and straight into the Army at 18. So, I’m a HUGE 80s music fan. Still listen to this day. With that said, of ALL of the amazing music to come from back then, David Coverdale is still just as good today as he was then. Personally, I can’t think of a single vocalist that comes close to being THIS good, after all of these decades.
If you are going down, this song can help you, to stand up.
I'm only 25 and can't wait for my old age anymore right after watching this video... Getting older is a precious gift. What a big regret for not born at year of 1970s for I can growing old with your era...Love you old man David.

I don't know where I'm going But I sure know where I've been Hanging on the promises in songs of yesterday And I've made up my mind I ain't wasting no more time Here I go again Here I go again Though I keep searching for an answer I never seem to find what I'm looking for Lord, I pray you give me strength to carry on 'Cause I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams Here I go again on my own Going down the only road I've ever known Like a drifter, I was born to walk alone But I've made up my mind I ain't wasting no more time I'm just another heart in need of rescue Waiting on love's sweet charity And I'm gonna hold on for the rest of my days 'Cause I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams And here I go again on my own Going down the only road I've ever known Like a drifter, I was born to walk alone And I've made up my mind I ain't wasting no more time But here I go again Here I go again Here I go again Here I go 'Cause I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams And here I go again on my own Going down the only road I've ever known Like a drifter, I was born to walk alone And I've made up my mind I ain't wasting no more time And here I go again on my own Going down the only road I've ever known Like a drifter, I was born to walk alone 'Cause I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams
