I met Trevor Noah accidentally last month and I was so happy, I saw him and I summon courage to speak with him, he said he doesn't have private instagram, private Twitter, private Facebook accounts and any sort of fan pages apart from his verified accounts and it's been handled by his Manager, he gave me his personal email address, He told me that he doesn’t mind is fan communicating with him via is Email or Google chat

That's why he's able to sell out arenas, every time! So he does it for them. For us who like him. Everyone else can just simply move on. 🤷🏽‍♀️ There's always going to be things that people like that others don't know why. But it's the easiest thing in the world to just carry on in your own life.

@jonnsmith4902 For instance, when I first discovered him, I didn't think he was HAHA/L.O.L. funny! But I learned so much from him that I couldn't help but watch. After I figured that he wasn't the kind of comedian that would make me laugh out loud all the way through a routine, I understood that he is actually just what you call humorous. He's constantly stating serious things in a humorous way. Things some need to hear, things some have already heard, and some things that are just plain interesting or that you never knew or thought of. Most of what he says has deeper meaning to it. And are deeper subjects that filter through his brilliant and thorough mind, as well as caring heart. When he does his comedy, I think it's more of a venting for him through a lighthearted platform. And some people like that. And _that's_ why he's so loved by some! And, hell, some people *need* that, just as much as he does! But, either way, he's still loved by many! So why be concerned with those who don't? EVERYTHING'S liked & disliked. Even Beyoncé. lol (You've seen it. People who say, "She's just not for me." And that's fine.) So. It's all perspective. I do realize he's not for everyone. But I also realize why. For the rest of us, he's a different experience than what's "normal" [usual], and for us, for reasons different than how we enjoy other typical comedy, he's a breath of fresh air! Anyway, have a good year! And Happy New Year! ✨️

That’s the only one I didn’t agree with 100%. Me and my husband are both “white” and we have actually had multiple conversations questioning what it is about this particular song that makes so many people love it. Neither one of us hates the song necessarily but we don’t lose or s#*t over it. However we live in the south, Alabama to be specific (I swear not all of us are racist rednecks), and Sweet Home Alabama is our siren song. Especially in Tuscaloosa where we have a tendency to find any excuse possible to play it so we can scream Roll Tide Roll.

I don’t think he was very positive about white people. I think it’s pretty obvious he doesn’t like white people despite his father being white. He never paints a pretty picture of white people. The notion white guys only fail upwards is bogus. Not to mention the whole bathroom bit is about white guys being afraid of people laughing at their small dicks or their repressed homosexuality. But I get it. It’s trendy to be racist to white people and then write it off as if it is literally not possible to be racist against white people. At the end of the day it genuinely makes zero difference to me in my life but if you find his material hilarious you should consider how you may view white people yourself.

Trevor, I think you mean disgruntled, which “flabbergasted” is not a synonym of. Flabbergasted is more like being astonished, it doesn’t convey any implications of frustration or annoyance. If a UFO landed in front of me, I’d be utterly flabbergasted… which doesn’t mean I’d be grumpy towards the aliens. Actually his usage of "flabbergasted" is correct here. He's saying people are more than disgruntled or frustrated. That they are astonished that something so stupid, like having only one cashier when there is a long queue forming, could be allowed to happen.

@@DissociatedWomenIncorporated I was taught British English too and the word "flabbagasted" is commonly used to show astonishment for mundane acts of stupidiy but usage changes in different English-speaking countries. British English is taught is most former colonies but the language is changed and adapted to suit the Natives.
