Loved the video! Out the other day targeting whites but only caught a couple despite seeing a ton of shad on the surface. Not sure what we were doing wrong but would love to figure them out!

Waaaay back when...Dad and i would chase the huge schools of white bass that were chasing the larger schools of shad across the top! Silver Johnson spoons were a guaranteed catch of at least 10 before they sounded. Spent many a summer @ Falcon Lake SP....

Great video. My dad and I have fished white bass as long as I remember. One time we dragged my novice brother in law with us. We got in the water at 5:30am and had to be off the water by 11am. At 9 am we had 1 white bass and tried a lot of areas. Then suddenly got int them big time. Started throwing double jigs and at 11am had 117! We got off the water and took us 2 hours to clean fish. Lol. Our wives weren’t too happy but we had a ball. Then had a huge fish fry

Awesome video! I love white bass because they are hard fighters plus they are schooling fish so you have a reasonable chance of catching a lot of fish on your trip. Who doesn't want to catch a fish that fights hard and a chance to catch a large number of them?

My family think they are trash fish. But they taste awesome I think I’m gonna slip a fillet in my dads walleye

I'm going to put a single male white bass with a pair of hybrid jag cichlids

They're so aggressive and fun to catch, let alone they make great table fare! Haven't gone after white bass in such a long time, might need to fish for them sometime.

How can you tell the difference between Stripe Bass and White bass?

Phil where I live my closes lake the stripe bass are an lot bigger than the white bass and they fight an lot harder I had and huge stripe brake my 8lb line when I was fishing for whites so basically the stripe fight an lot harder than the white I don’t know if they are different in other places. Hope this help

White bass have a flatter body, where striped bass have a bit more of a round body

White bass are so over fished in Wisconsin they’re so small

White Sea bass are better

why would a bass hit my worm..or lure..when they have thousands of minnows. you guys really need to explain more. its bullshit.

A well presented lure can look like a slower weaker minnow than the rest. If you use a live minnow under a bobber the little bugger will struggle and draw attention.

After watching the video.....The Title confused me. I still know nothing about white bass. Just a couple of guys having fun catching them....🥱
