How To Catch TONS Of White Bass FAST (Summer Fishing)

White bass fishing in the summer changes a lot from early to late summer. Techniques for catching summer white bass often vary greatly as water temperature changes. Many anglers resort to trolling for white bass when it gets really hot but in most cases, there are better ways to catch these fish.
In this week's video, I take you out on a Texas lake in the later part of the summer and cover a bunch of tips and techniques to help you catch more white bass and I’m not trolling either. If you’re looking for a way to catch a bunch of fish this is an easy way to do it and can be a lot of fun as well.
I referenced sand bass a few times in this video, that’s what we call them here in Texas but sand bass and white bass are one in the same. In addition to catching white bass on the slabs, we also caught yellow bass (bar fish) and channel catfish as well.
If you want to learn how to catch tons of white bass really fast in the late summer this is one of many techniques that will work.

I have a hard time here in the Hill Country in the summer. This year we are rocking the Live Scope system though. Hopefully the fishing gets better. Thanks for the tips.

Real fun to find schools of sandbass here on lake Eufaula right now early morning or evening you can slay those things me and the wife slayed them over the weekend kept 15 nice ones over 2 pounds each rest was like you was catching that we threw back. We was worn out with all we caught

WB make great catfish cutbait. How do you eliminate a lot of dead water for these roaming schooling fish? On the natural lakes where I fish, they're typically on weed edges, rock-sand-weed points and transitions.
You're throwing back some of the tastiest samiches right there.

Good info! The only thing I do different when the bite slows down is fan cast around the boat. I sometimes just sit in the same spot and a lot of the time the school comes back to me. Don't you hate when you're on top of a school and some guy blows in with the big motor and and shuts it's down on top of the school and running them all off?

Heck I use whisker seeker MH rod to catch sand bass and hybrids and stripers they work good, the wife ask me how many fishing poles I need I just said I’m trying to catch up to how many shoes she has lol

I get what you were saying about not being able to show your screen. I have tried taking photographs of my Onix screen and it's a waste of time. The sun has to be absolutely perfect or it has to be very low light. Thank you for the quick response.

Never heard them called white bass in Ok. I’ve always Known them as Sand bass

For some reason white bass js the best bate for catfish. Especially the head part. I have caught cats 3 to 1 on the head versus body parts
