We have a lake in North Louisiana that is about 10-14 feet overall but it has three different large areas that are between 20-30 feet deep. We go in December, January, and February and they are stacked in those deep spots. We use the same jig setup but every now and then we bring shiners and fish them with a cork and a bobber stopper. There is nothing quit like fighting a 2 lb white perch from 29 feet deep on an ultralite.

I apsalootly love croppy fishing great action on slabs finally a fishing show that produces big fish in the category I'm interested in . Like on that . I'm in NY on Lake Ontario I've only caught two small crappie 11 years ago on the river by the falls .

I haven't seen a single slab, where I'm from they are considered a slab until they weight over 3 lbs, he hasn't caught a single fish half that size

Love this video I struggle and battling with mental health and its Good content like this that help get me through thanks Crappie and bass are my favorite I'm from Arkansas

I don't normally call a crappie a bucket mouth. But damn that cover pic was. When the dogwoods are blooming, it's time to slay them. I was born in Birmingham and raised my first 25 years there. Ive been in Montana for 28 years and fishing is a different game. My paw paw raised me catfishing at Logan Martin damn. Miss those days.

In Louisiana we call them SackAleit . (Sack a leh ). Means sack of milk in French. Loooove these fish. Especially in the bayou under some cypress trees. Talk about peaceful. If you ever get down to New Orleans let me know! We will make sure to put you on fish!!! God bless friends
