Just sold my Hammond to buy a banjo a couple of months ago and am learning clawhammer. This is my favorite version of this song. You look like you're having so much fun and really playing with the bawdy humor. Do you have tab available ?

This is really well done. I wish we could have seen your other hand; it looks like you’re using a combination of clawhammer and upstrumming with a little bit of thumb picking? You’ve got a wonderful sparkle on that 5th string and I’d love you know how you did it!

Hey there, sorry the right hand's not in frame! But to answer your question, I'm actually not upstrumming here. I'm using mostly the typical bum-ditty clawhammer technique with some drop-thumbing thrown in, except for the picked melody notes. I'm hitting those with my index fingernail but double-thumbing between every note to keep that 5th string going. Hope that helps, and thank you for listening!
