In this video, I'll show you how to fix a Whirlpool, Amana, Inglis, or Roper Dryer Timer that's no longer heating. This is a common problem that can be easily fixed by rebuilding the dryer timer (with a couple of hacks to get it done!).
Remember to unplug your appliances from power and shut off any water before attempting any repairs. My videos are for entertainment purposes only and are not to be taken as repair advice. The no heat problem stems from a worn out plastic component within the dryer timer. I used to show how to heat and bend the plastic piece to get it to work again, but in this video I show another method that I have come to like a lot better for ease and longevity. This video was prompted by a no heat issue for the auto dry cycle.
