    On two stores, we are doing it. One is for my wife's clothing only products. She has developed a market of people looking for vintage clothes, and thats all she sells. Mine is half vintage bikes and parts, and half everything else (no clothes). It works for us, and it's really about separating out her niche products. We also put some items that we are not sure about on hers, as my store has 25 years of feedback. We do not want to risk problems on our main store.

    Great Q&A video. Your whole approach to reselling seems very sensible and down to earth. My guess is that your KZread ad sharing revenue will ramp up nicely as you gain subscribers, which is likely to continue because you are providing quality content.

    For the multi quantity shipping charge question there is a place when you list in the shipping section that asks you how much to charge per item beyond the first one. So what might of happened to the user that asked is they didn’t have anything in there. Example: $9.99 to ship and then $2.99 per next item.

    Thanks for answering my questions!!! What I meant by how detailed with the sell through is do you find that exact item? For example say a pair of boots. Do you look up the exact color, size, model number or men's Sorel Snow boots? How do you structure the search? Thanks again!

    Let's suppose you have 1k invested in the current product's listed. How do you go about investing? Do you wait for money already invested to bring a return before investing or do you invest now knowing a return will come from previous investments. I am wondering because I don't want to keep investing if I'm not bringing in returns and then reusing already invested money. I want to keep a certain degree of investment but I want to keep a flow also. How would you track this?

    I would say if you are going to go down the mentoring road, I would recommend just making videos and building a class on udemy. You are already making KZread videos. If you shoot the advice once and sell it to multiple people it will make you money and save you time.

    Hi Justin, about hidden keywords I’ve seen an increase in traffic when I used them in categories that may not necessary apply to a product and when is a season where the product can sell more. For example, if Father’s Day is coming up in the next few weeks, adding “father gift” or similar to your item in a non-relevant category may increase the traffic as people use these words in their searches, although these words not necessarily describe your product and not being added to the title.

  • @justinresells

    sure, but why hide that keyword?

  • @josemorales6567

    @josemorales6567

    @@justinresells I guess just if words in title are more relevant to the product itself and may affect the search result if you remove them, but you still want to add some relevance based on season

    I just started my ebay account the beginning of december. First it allowed me to list 10 listings, once I sold one and it made it to the buyer they upped that to thirty seven. I have sold 4 more listings since then, but they denied my request to increase the number, though they send me emails saying I can list up to 250 over and over. I'm 7 weeks old at this time. Perhaps it's time + positive ratings. I'm not buying a store until I sell more, can't list more to up those sales.....anyway, I'll see how it goes.

    I didn't realize you gained 20k+ of all of your subs since July, awesome job. On the mentoring question, you might consider offering consulting calls at whatever dollar amount you think an hour of your time is worth. Some kind of mentoring program would be time consuming, one-off calls would be easier to manage or a 2-3 call package serving as an intro, follow-up and summary spread over a few months. For the guy asking about grinding his initials off of his tools, I wouldn't bother. He should mention them in the listing and maybe offer to grind the initials off at the buyers request, but it's an unnecessary hassle to proactively. Practically no one is going to care as long as the tool works and the price is right, it's not a fashion accessory that you carry around in public.
