Have you tried the vans “SKATE” sk8-hi? They say they’re made better and thicker. Might be more on par with Chuck 70 or even better I love my Chuck 70s but the toe box and overall fit is narrower than is healthy for feet.

I collect more Vans than Cons mostly because I find the Cons soles so thin, they hurt my feet after a long walk. Vans are also pretty thin soled though. They look cool but are not good for long distances.

Vans allll the way. I’ve been wearing them for 15 years and will my whole life. I’m a little bias towards vans since I’m a skater though lol
