he is wrong. he needs to understand how much water is used for petrol production. The emissions from the bikes are not just CO2, but CO, NOx and PM2.5 and PM10. He is an electrical engineer, he should not make videos on topics he does not understand

Good question. He did not mention on the crude refinement and it's effect on the pollution. With the analysis offered here , all are contributing to the pollution factor. The contribution of corbon emission was there from the early days when man used wood fire to cook by cutting forests. So the atmosphere getting polluted has history from the earliest days when civilization started . According to the analysis by this anchor, there can NEVER be a control on the CO2 emission. With the population on the increase globally, and with automobiles to air crafts using the fossil fuel , the global warming is sure to happen and the dooms day can not be averted😙😙😙

It is a good documentation. I appreciate your effort in collecting the details for this video. But while calculating the petrol emission, Similar to the calculation of effect of power production, you could have considered the petrol production environment effect also. In case of solar panel, second thing. I am using tall tubular battery for my UPs and the battery comes for more than 6 years now. Without any degradation. In that case, the Li-Ion battery life on an average calculated may be good for general public. But If I know how to maintain it, I may extend for another 2 more years. In 6 years, a revolution will take place in battery like cellphones today. The 3rd biggest advantage with EV is, I can go self sufficient if I install a solar plant on my car shed for powering the vehicle. But with petrol, I have to go with the crowd and the price tag Govt., fixes. I am not in favour of EV. But Just mentioning those points those if considered will make this a complete video.

While the norm for NOx from diesel vehicles in BS4 is at 250mg/km, it is reduced to 80mg/km in BS6 emission norms. The HC+NOx has been reduced from 300mg/km in the BS4 to 170mg/km, while the PM level has been decreased from 25mg/km to 4.5mg/km.

@engineering facts: well said. But you have not included the emission rates of Indian refinery which produces diesel and petrol. As per the pollution control board data, they are worse than thermal plant. The older the refinery worse the emission rates. So average of all 14 Indian refinery will be higher than average emission of all 8 thermal plants in India.

Cure oil refinerynot only done for petrl diesel many other products is also comming out of it so any way we need to continue the prcoess even if we move to electric and also lithium extraction have their emissions

It was complete 20 mins video; To make it short I cut those part out. And I didn't included the co2 emissions from lithium production in the video. The emission of co2 from electric bike manufacturing is far more higher than the emission of petroleum product extractions.

Good! oil reserve is depleting also. Need alternative energy sources. Moreover, thermal or other fossil fuel power plants exhaust gas can be regulated and cleaned before realising to atmosphere. Smoke control in individual vehicle is difficult. u know Volkswagen company case !
