I heard battery replacement cost comes to around 20 K after 3-5 years based on the usage. That does not make a big difference to the equation , also if you have solar installed that could charge the bike the unit calculation can be completely removed.

I will use the Vehicle for more than 10 years. What will be battery life and cost of battery replacement. If i replace battery after 5 years the cost is going to be more than 50% of the bike cost. If i consider inflation the cost of battery after 5 years ll be even more . After 5 years anyway i have to use bike . Either i should sell the bike and buy new EV or replace the battery. Either ways the cost will match the petrol vehicle cost if i ise the petrol vehicle for ten years.

Once in 2.5 yrs battery to be changed for electric scooter it has not been mentioned battery cost itself comes to 50k.

Service cost will be atleast ₹5,000 per year, whereas you have taken ₹5,000 for 5 years. Secondly, after 5 years cost of changing the battery is not considered. This can be 50% cost of the vehicle.

@@jagadesh151083 ~1500 only comes here is the calculation - for 3 KWH batery for full charge it takes 3 units - So 3 units * 111 times = 333 units - 333 units * ~4.5 that comes to ~1500 only

Battery will still have 80% capacity left after 5 years and will be in warranty till 5 years if you buy the 5 year extended warranty by ola. So there will be resale value and still ev can be used without changing battery by person who don't need 100 km / charge and are okay with 80 km per charge.

Bro unga calculation la major mistake iruku. Example- neenga yearly EV charging cost calculate pana 10000Kms/(80)Milegae per charge =125times charge x 6rs/unit cost= 938rs nu poduringa. But per charge ku 3 units agum so 125x6x3= 2813rs agum so overall unga charging cost ah x3 pota tha correct.

Yes bro I agree, even if we multiply by 3 3x5000= 15,000 only for ev charge for 50,000km. Also many mentioned about petrol vehicle maintenance cost will go above 25k for 5years. If we tally it cost of ownership for petrol vehicles will always on the higher side.
