    Hey S in many of your videos you discuss the blur of the club head. May I suggest you attach a bright marker or fluorescent marker on the club head used in your videos which might show up as a more visible blur for the audience?

    You read my mind again. I was practicing side bend/head position after watching the vids you recommended and started really botching my long clubs. The shorter irons were going great. So I was pretty excited watching this. thanks for another great one.

    Right on Ted! Lots where that came from! See “tilt mile markers” and “contact mile markers” as well as “head and hip swivel” on our premium channel to open things up with turn and tighten things up for the centring of the action!

    Hey Shawn, love your videos and instruction. It has really solidified a few fundamental flaws for me, and the adjustment to a strong grip (previously neutral to weak) has improved my consistency. One point I get a little stuck on is the Driver release, I tend to still fall back to the old "at the ball release" with this strong grip and results in BIG pull hooks. Guessing I just need to let the hands go instead of trying to steer the ball, any tips on this aspect?

    Hi James! The best task for the driver is to practice making the tee summersault into the direction you want to start the ball using momentum; make sure you also practice your power fades! See our “Power fades Shawn clement” video;

    Hey Shawn, Great video. My neck is alway bothering me after hitting this way. Any idea on what I’m doing wrong? Will be watching Savannah and “Mu” move up in long drive!

    You may be overdoing it; the numbers should be 20 degrees turned and 20 degrees tilted;

    Shawn, how do I keep my arms passive in the backswing and downswing? I seem to tense up before I hit the ball.

    This is something that is the thorn in the side of so many golfers! And the answer is simple: When you are getting ready to hit the ball, find a position, place the club somewhere in the backswing, make sure to do this or that, you are asking the brain to freeze the body and USE THE ARMS; WHICH IS GREAT FOR A SURGEON OR A DENTIST, BUT SUCKS FOR A GOLFER OR LUMBERJACK. You need to get ready to use the weight of the arms and club to deliver a task through the ball and intermediate point into the direction of the target THROUGH A FLIGHT PLAN. Imagine that you can’t use your arms at address; how do you get them to swing? When you use a sledge hammer, the only option is to get out of the way and let it swing past you and through whatever it is you want to smash! SAME FOR GOLF! I highly recommend you get with our premium channel at www.wisdomingolfpremium.com and start with our overall series called “wisdom in Golf 2.0” and then go to “using the weight in your swing-axe drill with Savy” or even start there and hit shots like that and then go to Wisdom 2.0 and sink your teeth into the best golf learning experience ever! The point I get about that head position is it keeps the top of spine from moving laterally and let’s the center of mass or bellybutton to move like it’s supposed to.

    And it also makes the hips and legs turn properly moving the backside to the target in the backswing to prevent the sway and the maintaining of the tilt allows for a DEEP AND NATURAL LAG THROUGH THE BALL AND INTO THE DIRECTION OF FLIGHT! Incredible machine we have, and with the right focus and task, like the one in this video, you get to have your cake and eat it too! 😀👍👊

    Love the videos Shawn, thank you. What is your tip for keeping the hands quiet through the ball and into the target? I have a tendency to get a bit flippy and too active with my hands unless I really get my shoulders turning through the shot..

    Hey Simon! This video here will help the hands! If you get ahead of the ball, you need to release early to jot miss the ball! So you will see a big difference with the hands when you stay with the shot the way we show in this video!
