Which GI Bleeds are EMERGENCIES??
Are you concerned that you or someone you know may be having a GI bleed? Are you trying to figure out whether to go to the ER or if it's ok to go to a GI clinic?
While I do not know your specific case and CAN NOT give medical advice, I can provide some general information about GI bleeds, symptoms, likely culprits, which bleeds are usually small vs big, which bleeds are more concerning, and why those bleeds may need to be evaluated in the ER.
How are GI bleeds typically evaluated? How big is a GI bleed? What factors are used to determine the bleed size? Why did the bleed start in the first place? What distinguishes a dangerous bleed?
If a patient does go to the ER for a dangerous bleed - what should the ER team do?

Hey dr copper , I have question about EOE I wish you could answer me , I have EOE and I have my distal esophagus is 30 eosinophil and the proximal is nothing so I go to allergy doctor and he told me no specific test to know , but in same time he told me I have to have eosinophil in both esophagus distal and proximal to have EOE , is that right, and I have gastritis in same time plz if you could answer my question
I have stomach bleeding after I having 12 pocket of Grandpa powder in 10 days, will I be able to eat spicy food and drink alcohol after I heal?

Spicy food yes. Alcohol in moderation-presuming you’re liver is otherwise healthy. Please check out other videos that describe what moderate alcohol entails.
